Grouping save games

So the first thing I noticed after creating a new character is what a mess save games are.
If you want to continue playing an older character you didn't play for a while good luck because its hard to figure out which save is from which character if you happen to have multiple characters with the same origin. An easy solution for this problem would be to just group them by character and make you select a character first and then select the save you want to load.
Any thoughs on this?

Definitely would be helpful.. especially so for console players. On pc the alternative is to simply make different save folders for each character but obviously not something that everyone wants to fiddle with every time they want to switch characters.

Already overwritten one save lost about a fair bit of time just running around finishing shit. Not great.

If I play one save enough I can't find the save for a different play through it's a jumbled pile of ----.
