http://www.vg247.com/2015/01/26/bringing-the-witcher-3-wild-hunt-to-life/

here it says

There are a lot of stories out there; there’s the Witcher castle, White Orchard, Vizima, Novigrad, and Skellige to explore – and each of these hubs, if you want to call them that, is surrounded by huge expanses of land – forests, farmland, plains, battlefields, rivers, mountains and islands. All of them bursting with secrets to discover.

But what I read previously was from somewhere else.

I mean 2 big cities so close together which doesn't make sense. I don't doubt Oxenfurt is in the game but I think(hope in this case cos I wanna see Vizima also) it's part of Novigrad.

They are "somewhat" close, but still a reasonable distance. Oxenfurt was confirmed ages ago, and if you want recent confirmation go watch the archived stream from the GOG Twitch channel.

I don't really see the big deal about having the 2 big cities in the same "Zone". No Man's Land isn't about to have any major cities within reach. I'm sure Kaer Trolde will be pretty massive but for the most part it makes sense that Skellige is mostly lots of smaller villages & ports.

Vizima will be in the game, but I don't think it'll be open like The Witcher 1, most likely we'll only go there for specific story purposes (Like meeting with Emhyr).

Really? I thought DA:I's lip-syncing was even at the best of times very unconvincing, and their facial animations (And animations in general) were just downright unacceptable for a 2014 AAA title. TW3's is off sometimes, but not nearly to the extent that I found DA:I's to be.

I don't know, maybe I watched the parts from DA where it turned out to be pretty good. It's not just the precision but I find the movement of the lips / jaw more natural in DA (yeah, it's kinda silly and unimportant, but since Badowski put it that way, I had to point it out). And I'm talking solely about the lip sync, the facial expressions are miles better than in DA.

Maybe that's the case :/ So called "prologue area" could be Vizima then.

Isn't the prologue area White Orchard - and tutorial is Kaer Morhen?

Not walk much to realize how vast the world of The Witcher 3. A small village near Vizima becomes a whole world to explore

Maybe that small village is White Orchard :p I'm confused as it is, if someone'd say "prologue area is actually Istanbul" and I'd believe it atm :D

When a Jaw movement was necessary, I agree. However most of the time there was jaw movement when it wasn't necessary, and it ended up just looking weird and over-exaggerated. I guess it probably varies person to person, but I know if I go say some random shit in front of a mirror, I barely move my jaw at all.
So the more subtle lip movement in TW3 just seems more realistic, precise to me, and whilst I wouldn't call DA:I's lip-sync bad, it just very rarely hit that point of being "convincing" to me.

The prologue is very likely set in the surroundings of Vizima, maybe in a town called White Orchard. I don't think we'll see much from Vizima itself, I guess it's pretty limited to the royal castle.

Oxenfurt may be in the game to be explored or maybe we just see it in the distance from the other side of the river. Looking at the map I don't think it will be part of No man's land (that might end at the Pontar to the north or even way below that) and it's probably also not part of the Novigrad surroundings because it would be pretty weird to have two big or bigger cities in the same hub...

Another guess for the 2nd bigger city could be Gors Velen. It was already mentioned in the first gameplay video that Ciri could be there and so Geralt might visit the city to look for her. And looking at its location on the map it could pretty much be the "capital" of the No man's land region... ;)

Hımn. Why didn't I make out "Gors Velen" from "she's in velen?". Could be nice, then there could be Thaned island also.

Because Velen (Velin) is an area in Northern Temeria and not the city Gors Velen.

As for as I understood it, the first 10 hours of the game will be : (obviously huge spoilers)
Tutorial (optional:if making a tutorial in a story driven game optional, which introduces us to the main characters, is a good idea is another matter) - Kaer Morhen flashback/dream
Prologue- The battlefield from the CGI intro-> White Orchard (small village next to Vizima) and surroundings. It's a hub/small open world and not part of the Velen map
At the end of the prologue we will visit Vizima/Castle of Vizima (probably just parts of it or cutscenes) and the prologue ends with the conversation with Emhyr
He tells us that Ciri has returned and we have to find her. After that the whole open world opens(including Skellige) and we are either in Novigrad or Velen. The 35min demo starts and we are tracking Ciri.
Considering we are not searching for Yennefer anymore, my guess is, that we will meet her in Vizima at the end of the prologue

I'm pretty sure Novigrad and Vizima are the two "huge" cities. Oxenfurt will also be in the game but its not the same size as the other two cities. If you look at the map in the 35 minute video Oxenfurt is (apparently) on it and much smaller than Novigrad. So I think the second "huge" city is Vizima.

Also check out the image of the merged images of the released maps:

View attachment 9935

If you look at the image at that Vizima is clearly on the right side. I think Oxenfurt is at the top on the river. Novigrad is to the north of where the map ends in the image. So I am like 95% sure the Vizima and the surrounding area are in the game. I got the image from post #145 on the"Places you can visit in the Witcher 3" thread.

If Oxenfurt and Vizima's not there as big cities and Tretogor confirmed not to be there. even -unmentioned- Gors Velen seems to be the best bet. Cidaris? Ellander? Maribor?

I think it's mentioned in previews that we look for her in Skellige, given that
she was once been there when in trouble before
I think we'll find her there.

I might be completely off in this regard but as I have understood it and please correct me if I am wrong, then what I have encircled in blue is the city of Novigrad while what I have encircled in red is Oxenfurt.

It was placed like south of Novigrad on the north shore of pontar, that red circle seems to be further south-east but I don't know maybe the close up map looks like that or it made sense for Oxenfurt to be there in the game if that is Oxenfurt.

Assuming for a second that it is the red area circled by OliverDK is Oxenfurt, they previously released concept art that appears to be the same city on an Island. It is apparently on the north shore of the Pontar river (which matches your description pretty well). The shape of the city in the art looks the same as the map and the curve of the river is similar. IF it is the same city, then I don't think it would qualify as "huge" (though larger than Skyrim "cities"), especially when compared to what we have seen of Novigrad. That (plus what I posted above) is why I think the second "huge" city is Visima.

Sorry for the double picture, I don't know how to fix that.

Been a while since that was first posted, but I thought it was originally given as "White bridge", near the mouth of the Pontar (where Geralt crosses in the 35 minute footage (map only, not in 3d engine)). Not 100% certain, just my fitting of sparse data over the last year-ish.
