i5-4460
8GB ram
GeForce GTX 980 4 GB
with tweaks from http://forums.cdprojektred.com/threads/36088-A-compendium-of-tweaks-and-fixes-for-the-PC-version?p=1719373#post1719373

1080p/ultra on everything shadow and foliage distance on high (hairworks off)


and i get soild 60fps most of the times (only drops in novigrad to 50-60fps)

so how's it working out for you guys?
are you downsampling, etc?

Everything on Ultra, with some unwanted effects disabled, including HairWorks. Some extended draw/shadow distance tweaks (many which don't seem to work in 1.04 anymore) through configuration files. 50-60 frames per second, but the game seems to stutter with unsteady framerates. I've externally limited it to 50, which it never goes below of.

If your a running game in sli something is wrong, unless your running 4k your FPS should be much higher

Could it be that he as vsync enabled? lol Of course he does.

He does! And no I'm not running this at 4k just measly 1080p.

I may as well add mine:

2500k @ 4.5GHz on water
Zotac GTX 980
8GB DDR3
Running the game nvidia optimized (Ultra w/hairworks) and getting between 45-60 fps depending on if I'm inside or not lol.

Nice thing is this game runs smoothly at all times. I haven't experienced any issues at all.

SLI 980s @ 1440p with g-sync. Ultra + Hairworks. My cards yawn when I load up W3.

Also is some cases with witcher 3 you have to FORCE SLI in the control panel profile for witcher 3 or it only uses 1 card at a time (I know they did a profile update recently so it might of fixed it but I don't have sli)
It also helped tons of people with crossfire and SLI to set frames to unlimited.

overall i'm pretty satisfied with the performance
i could pop up the foliage distance to ultra but it won't be solid 60fps more like 60-55 fps in some areas
hairworks needs some work..the fps dips ain't worth it
