Guns' pronunciation and definition guide

I don't believe any of these actually shows up in game dialog so we can hear them. The in-game gun glossary also doesn't explain the origins of some of the more exotic names, not even in relation to the game's lore, nor in relation to our world. So here is what I've found:

Nekomata (neh·ko·ma·ta, hear it) - Japanese word for cat demon
Nowaki (no·wa·ki, hear it) - Japanese word for late autumn windstorm in the countryside. (This may also be a Polish name, but unlikely, due to the game's Asia-centric nature).
Dian (di·an, hear it) - Chinese word for electricity
Nue (nu·eh, hear it) - Japanese mythical creature
Shingen (shin·gan, hear it) - Named after a Japanese warlord
Igla - Russian word for "needle"
Tamayura (ta·ma·yu·ra, hear it) - Japanese word for "fleeting moment"
Yukimura (yu·ki·mu·ra) - Named after a Japanese warlord
Burya (boor·ya, hear it) - Russian word for "storm"
Chao (chow, hear it) - Likely the Chinese word for "super" although many words with a similar sound exist.
