Hey CDPR,

How did you go about turning the 2D card art into a 3D animation? I want to try my hand at animating my own art but I don't know where to start.

is it normal that the arena achievment for 100 win with a Syndicate capacities give us only 1 keys ?
 
I have several questions, I do understand that not all of them can be or will be answered

#1 Heal Cards - In my experience playing, using a healing card on a bleeding unit does not stop the bleeding.. If you research the definition of "Heal" the result should be a stopping of the condition (in this case the bleeding)

Is this something that may be changed in the future ?

#2 Poison - I have not seen any cards that deal directly with poison, purify will remove the poison but it also removes all the other status effects, this can be detrimental since poison is typically going to be used on high cards and cards with positive status. Additionally Siege Engines should not be adversely affected by poison

Is there efforts to add new cards that will deal exclusively with poison and to adjust the poison effect on Siege Engines?

#3 Game Modes - In my reading of the erratic and limited documents about the types of Game Modes (Friendly Matches) is considered a game mode, yet when missions say to "collect" or "use" etc In ANY game mode, many times friendly matches are not included

Will the verbiage used in these cases be changed to ensure players understand the requirements of the mission?

#4 Witcher Cards - Specifically Vesemir, Lambert and Eskel If you have 1 - summon the others (if you have them in your deck) to the board. For what purpose? Fodder ? These are WITCHERS with the high Provision cost and the low strength
they should do more then just pose, especially against monsters/beasts.
I have a suggestion: On deploy boost allied unit by 2 or damage opponent by 2, damage by 4 if it's a monster or beast, I'm sure their are other viable suggestions for these.

Is this something being looked into?

#5 Rewards- Balancing the reward to the difficulty of the mission/quest/contract
An example:
1 reward point is equivalent to spending 5600 scraps (The Usual Suspects)
and
1 reward point is equivalent to spending 2400 scraps (Strange Stew)
this makes no sense.
In the example I do understand that the in play value of the 7 cards crafted for The Usual Suspects outweighs the 3 Crones.
A more viable example might be getting 1 reward point for completing a contract 10 times but then only receiving 2 reward points for doing it 100 times: 1-10 ratio vs 1-50 ratio

Are efforts to re-balance the reward point system in progress or being considered?

#6 Consume - One of the definitions of consume is to eat, in the case of game play that is exactly what is being done, However, typically with consumption comes consequence for example consuming an ally that is bleeding should not affect the consumer...but consumption of a unit that has been poisoned
the effect should be transmitted to the consumer.. It may seem a bit one sided, but it makes more sense, if you eat something that is poisoned you also should be poisoned.... In addition to this consumed units should not go to the graveyard, that makes no sense either, if I eat something what is left to throw away only to be pulled back whole ? It would make more sense if the consumed unit was pulled from the graveyard with 1 point

Is this something worth looking into perhaps?

Shouldn't this thread be closed down?

Lots of players, specially new ones, are unaware of how it was abandoned - last RED member response was back in November - and it was even removed from pinned threads a few weeks ago. Since players dont know this, they will keep posting here, expecting an answer...

Also, most of the questions asked here can be answered by mods or other users, so they will be better on other help threads.
 
Hey friends. New to the game on Android. Was playing around with deck building. Anyone know why it let's me use dust on the same card more than once? Shouldn't it just turn it into a moving card and then remove the option. I wasted so much dust on a single card thinking it was going to do something else before reading what transmuting a card did. Is there a reason it allowed me to spend more than once on a card? If not is there someone to contact to get my dust back? I spent money on it.
 
Hello, I don't want to start thread because of it... but since there was a wave of new Android players, did you consider putting the strategems pack option back in store? I missed it too and don't want to craft them if there is a chance to just buy the whole collection. Thank you.

Wondering what your thoughts on implementing a small QoL feature to Gwent?

1. Deck Builder having a filter for "TAGS" and there being a list of all tags in the game so that we can quickly find all cards that have a particular tag?

-I find searching for cards not inherently hard, but if we had more flexibility in our filtering, such as settings card tags and only showing those cards, it can help with making a deck around certain archetypes using keywords.

Also, multiple keywords would help too, so we can find cards that have multiple keywords/tags (in case you are doing a deck with two archetypes) using commas between each keyword, so we can have multiple card keywords/tags showing up in the deck builder search.

With this, I can either set a filter for a specific keyword, or I can search for something like "graveyard, spawn, play" and get all cards that have those words in their descriptions.

I just need to get this off my mind. If you can change it I would be most grateful. I know this will be met with derision and drama but I just got to ask: Can you please get rid of the naked harpies ripping the guys entrails out? I am a father of a 5 year old child and want to play a game to relax and chill and my kid comes in and out of the room to connect with me. One of the reasons why I play a game like Gwent is because it is casual enough I can still interact with my family if I need to. I am not a conservative person, nor do I have any religious baggage, but for the sake of just being decent, could you change the image on the cut screen so my family doesn't get a face full of horror and pornography by just happening to come in my office at the wrong time? I know that you guys are shooting for a dark atmosphere and all, but that image for a "cut screen" is just over the top. I'd much rather my kid see regular porn than that satanic filth. Oh, and I do vote with my dollars. I have spent thousands on Hearthstone and Elder Scrolls, but they were much more family friendly. I think this is a better game, but I'm not going to bother with it if I can't protect my family from horrific and potentially damaging images. Save it for the cards. You guys have much better art to use for these purposes than that particular image.
Other than that, great game.
 
Please add the Win Lose to playgwent.com. TailBot finished the season with 238 wins and only 79 losses, but the data is not available anywhere but on reddit now. Stuff like this should be visible on playgwent.com. If it can be shown ingame, I see no reason to hide it on playgwent.com. So my question is: why is the Win Lose hidden on playgwent.com?
 
Would you consider add the daily two wins reward back to the game?
I am willing to pay and have already purchased the pass. In game resource is not a big problem to me.
However, apparently a lot of new player will loss a lot of potential resource and hence they will give up the game.
Meanwhile old player will be so dissatisfied for cutting resource in such a way.
I really love playing gwent and would like to see it become popular and famous.
But it seems your recent update is pushing gwent back.
Please reconsider the daily reward.
As long as you listen to the player, they will value and pay you back in the long run.

is there a chance that there will ever be a Hungarian language in Gwent? For Hungarian players would be very helpfull.
 
Dear developers, can we have exp boost in the premium pass ? I think it will good for new players.
 
When can we expect a fix to the journey quest bug where quest progression isn't properly teacked or not tracked at all or reset and the rewards aren't delivered? And if the fix is coming after week 1, will we get the quest completion and rewards for quests we hve missed?
 
Hi

New Gwent player here who has a question for Devs / people better in the know than me:

I have completed 45 / 591 contracts. However, my 3 friends have available contracts totalling in the 600s - 666, 666, and 665 respectively. Can anyone answer why my available contracts are so much smaller than my friends? We all started within a day or so of each other around when the 6.1 patch came out.

The only difference is I have Thronebreaker and they don't.

i would like to ask if there is a possibility that you guys make some gwent vs Ai like in the witcher game, i dont like playing with others players, i know most like, but i cant stay on training forever and gaining nothing.. like, even in League of legends i play only with bots and still gain rewards..
i would love if gwent do the same.... i love this game...
 
Any chance that you can add journey progression to the arena mode, I’m sick of the ladder/competitive where it’s the same 3/4 decks every fight, arena is much more enjoyable. I’ve payed for the season pass but there’s no way I’ll make it to 100 just from competitive/seasonal modes.
 
Hello would you be willing to share a public csv file of updated gwent cards with the community? I think it would be really cool people like my self could do some data science to come up the the most optimal decks. Thanks!

My question is regarding the microtransactions. I like the fact that the majority of them are just cosmetics but I feel the prices are way too high, especially for the more simpler ones like card backs and such. I would love to buy some of them but at the current prices I simply cannot justify the purchase. I am from Australia so a card back for example is about 10 AUD, which can get me an indie game on steam or 3 bags of potato chips :). Are you guys planning on lower the prices so as to make the cosmetics and such more attractive?

Do you have any plans to add the opportunity to complete battle-pass quests and contracts with friends?
The quests like 'Play X aristocrats', 'Play X cards with zeal', "Boost X units" is not about tactics and strategy. It's more like 'Grind'.
