Gwent - My game is having screeching and cracking sound

Hello so I've been trying to find a solution to a problem with this game, I havent had this issue before and all my other games works fine except this one with the sound. I tried reinstalling audio drivers and the game a few times, change different settings but no solution. It is honestly really frustrating to hear it.

I have the same issue!

If it's any help, I was in the final Kill the servers event and I did not have this problem in that version.

It seems like all sounds are playing at too fast a speed, if you keep the sound enabled when you get into a game all the cards say their lines really fast.

Hope it can be resolved soon as it's making it hard to stream the game :(

Here's my DxDiag information too!

Hey,
Did you try to use Verify/Repair tool?

I'm trying it now, I'll post when it's complete.

EDIT: Gog galaxy said "Verify complete, no changes needed" However when I opened up the game the issues seems fixed, weird!

---------- Updated at 09:23 AM ----------

Sorry for the double post! Just need to make an update, the problem isn't solved!

It seems to have something to do with switching sound devices, if I have the default sound device my television then the sound comes out of the TV fine, but if I switch to my headset (whether before the game starts or during) the sound becomes crackly again!

EDIT: I looked into it a bit more, when I set my current sound device to 24 bit, 192000 Hz (Studio Quality) the sound breaks, but if I have it on anything else (all other settings are lower) it seems fine. View attachment 79740

Hello!

I am having this problem as well :( This happens every time I turn on the game (was the same during Kill the servers event).

What Joshimuz wrote helps, want to add that the issue is with 192000Hz option, changing between 24 and 16 bit doesn't affect it.
