Amnesty is really Nuts for a bronze card it makes the expensive Muzzle look like a bad joke (Sieze a 5 point Card and Lock it for 12 p)
That Card will be really bad for engine decks.

Still kind of crazy for a 5 provision card seize a SY Defender Bug or a Redanian Archer and boost it by 2, I think seize should be gold exclusive.

Probably yes, or it's some mistake. And if it's new mechanic, it means that they may have more new mechanics, for example dedicated to Monsters.

Why is it now (with Devotion) able to Seize 4 point units (and 2 without it) ?
Is that not arguably even more absurd ?
(And to think Vigo's Muzzle costs 11, is a Gold card, locks the unit and only has 1 more point of reach).

It's the worst scenario, becouse that would mean that they change the mechanics of cards without testing their balance first.

That's unfortunate. I find the Amnesty listed on the website to be better designed; although, both versions should really have their provision cost increased to 6. 5 provisions for 8 points is absolutely too good when you're getting those points from seizing enemy units.

The one that can seize 4 strength units is far more broken though, I would argue it is worse designed.

No, that one is just "Seize a unit with 2 or less power, Devotion: 4 or less".

The seize is much more bearable if the higher threshold is only for spying units. Even if the point potential its the same, its completely different a NG player stealing the spy he posted than stealing one of your engines.

And i realize there are ways now (or there will be...) to make spying units, but at least you will have a chance to purify those and counter that play.

You're mistaking devotion with conspiracy/collusion. The latter is a mechanic that works only if the target is a spying unit, which makes sense for this seize tactic. If it was Devotion, it would be almost a 5p Muzzle that you can play 3 or 4 each match...

That was what I thought when I first read the card, but after posting that comment just now, I decided to look up the keywords again. Apparently, Conspiracy is when you target a unit with Spying. Strangely, Collusion isn't defined or even listed in the Master Mirror keyword video, so I have no idea how you would be able to seize a 4-Power unit with the original version of Amnesty.

Now Shilard and Amnesty will become bros. A well timed Shilard can pretty much seize best tall cards from Monsters. I wonder if Damien could fall into this trap...

She could get rid of those Endrega Larvae, for example. Seems like a pretty useful card in general.
