Nobody I know listens to this and would call this "hacker music". Or do you mean "butcher music"?

We play ctf, also at insomnihack and casual stuff on ctftime.org ... there is no ONE hacker music. Some like pop, rap, some go for rock, some go for jap, some even like babymetal and that stuff.

Jap, also Cornelius Arise Soundtrack - of course, since it is GitS:

Cornlius:

Cyberpunk lacks a lot of japanese tracks, sadly!

Also: almost nobody listens to music when disassembling, reverse engineering, pentesting ... "hacking"... in a tournament setting - cuz we talk to each other and need to be focused. Music while hacking is very bad, like listening to music when studying or concentrating on work, it just takes away brain power from where you want to focus it... Not to say that in relaxed stages some music can help to solve some problems.

This depends on how well you know the music that you're listening to. When a song is "stored" in your memory, the brain doesn't need to process all information actively because it already knows parts of it, and it also knows what the song doesn't sound like, which can have a relaxing effect in stressful situations. Furthermore, having a good realtionship with your feelings helps with decision making. If you don't know where to start, maybe all you need to do is listen to your favourite songs.
