Haircuts

Hello!

I want to give Geralt a haircut, but I don't have so much money right now, so I don't want to cycle through every style there is. Anyone know of a link with images to every hairstyle or can someone post an image of every hairstyle :) (PS: Without Nvidia Hairworks please )

Just do what I did and save the game just before you get it cut. Laborious, yes, but it gets the job done.

You don't have 5x10 crowns? :p Don't worry, you'll have a lot more later.
Anyway, here you go:

After watching all of that, I still favor the default look best. Geralt with short hair just doesn't seem like...Geralt.

Really liked the full-beard-and-shaved-temples combo.

Yeah, the default one is the best, but the constant wind - even indoors - makes it look ridiculous so I had to go with the 'shaved except the ponytail' one. That one is pretty badass, too. The rest looks awful on Geralt I think.

I think that if Geralt had short hair, he would go with the elven rebel, long and loose looks too ridiculous, loose not long looks dumb, and the mohawk looks out of place on geralt, shaved temples and elven rebel are my go-to do's

Agreed. However, the mohawk wouldn't look too bad if not for the awkward hair physics - although it may look better with HairWorks on.

I like the shaved sides and ponytail. If your a fan of history channel's Vikings, this look reminds me of Ragnar.

THIS is an annoying issue to be sure.

With Hairworks on you don't experience wind indoors - The Tech is really awesome - You do have to realize that buildings with holes for windows will have wind blowing in - that includes most houses in rural Velen - But like I said with Hairworks on there is no wind inside caves etc ... except near the entrance of caves ...

That's good to hear, although from my experience (I've only seen videos since my PC can't run the game with HairWorks on)
HairWorks makes Geralt's hair look... shiny and smooth, so it's not ideal either.

Nah it only gets shiny when his hair is wet - videos never does graphics justice - Hairworks is great tech and looks very realistic - It moves realistically , changes when wet - blows in the direction of the wind .... So much coolness for something so insignificant ... Definitely a cool feature if you are looking for more immersion.

From what I've seen, Hairworks on, wind doesn't affect Geralt at all. Hairworks off, wind affects Geralt both indoor and outdoor. That aside, I do think the hair on Geralt looks best without Hairworks anyway, wish they would add one for creatures only.

Wind does affect Geralt with Hairworks on - it is just more realistic and not over-exaggerated like with Hairworks off ...

They should have made it impossible to just switch to long hair once you've cut it, it's so immersion-breaking. You'd have to wait for like half a year to grow it back.
Also, I'd like to have Gandalf-style and Norse/braided beard options.
