Haird and Beard DLC Deal Breaker.

So, currently there are going to be a lot of Free DLC's to get after the game is released. One (or several) of these DLC's will be hair and beard styles. Recently I learned that Geralt's original Hair and Beard will actually be growing over time (HOW FREAKING AWESOME IS THAT!!!!) ... and here comes the gut punch. Apparently the DLC hair and beards WILL NOT grow over time and it has been stated several times that once you download the Hair and Beard DLC your hair will stop growing.

This is a big concern for me ... the growing hair is freaking amazing and although I think it would be cool to see different hair styles and see how they grow and turn out individually (this will not be the case) I can understand the decision to not allow those styles to grow ... but what if we want to revert to the old hair/style? What if we want our hair to continue to grow again. Will having the DLC make a permanent stop to the growing of the hair and beard, or is there a way to still revert back to the growth.

If any Dev's could enlighten us on this it would be much appreciated. I honestly don't know why no one else has addressed this matter yet ... but to me it seems like an important one. Many people may not ever notice the nuance of hair/beard growth .... and with these DLC's coming out some people may never get the chance to notice it at all.

ps. Why not just allow an option for hair/beard growth to continue or stop before/after applying a hair style affect in the menu?

Not how it works, a RED(dev) already answered this:

If you go to the barber and choose a specific "beard style", your beard will stay like that. However if you shave the beard, it will grow again like it used to.

Maybe worth adding - If I got it right, it's only the beard that's growing, not the hair. So you basically pick up a hair cut, and the growth of the beard is basically up to you., as Sid said.

Indeed. That's my understanding as well.

It would've been for the DLC for me. Meaning I wouldn't have downloaded the free DLC. Did not mean Deal Breaker for the game itself ... i'd rather have my beard grow

Maybe you should pay attention more closely to what is written, if you had something to contribute that would've been nice though.

Well, I was going to post something like "my bad, I misread that"... then I read your little snippy parting shot there.. and then decided to reply with something snippy myself... but then I thought.. ah fuck it...

I was wondering if there was a way to stop the beard growth I got the dlc and shaved to the stubble beard or the second stage of the beard but it keeps growing out to the big beard and I'm tired of going to the Barbour to get it trimmed but was wondering if there was a way to stop it from growing
