It's not always 970 owners. There's a dude over at Hardware.info, who claimed to run Dragon:Age Inquisition on a 650ti 1GB on ultra settings, getting 40 fps. The same dude now claims to run The Witcher 3 at a mix of high and ultra settings 1080p with good performance. And this with a 650ti which is below the minimum requirements. And the 1GB VRAM of the card will certainly cause a lot of VRAM stuttering at those settings, it's simply not enough.
