So I gave amazon uk a call today as there has been no update on my order. The representative was adamant that the item would be shipped tomorrow and be received on Tuesday and will be delivered by one of Amazon's direct couriers. We will see. I'm living in the highlands and although my order is First class, it is rare for anything to be delivered in a day. Unless the courier is going to personally drive it to my door (a service that's paid through the nose) they normally fob it off to the local Royal Mail.
If i had pre-ordered my PC Collector's Edition for shipping to my home, i would have been able to pick it up within the next couple hours. But being a PC gamer for many years has taught me one quick lesson - PC games are impossibly strict with the release date. Esp. Steam and other games that require some form of online authentication (Origin, Steam etc). So even if i had obtained it today Monday the 18th, i would not have been able to play it. Install it maybe but not play it.
I live in rural Victoria Australia, and any pre-orders i get from EB Games Australia's website, arrive 1-2 days before release date. 9/10 pre-orders have happened to arrive that early in the past. Yes, even the super big AAA games. But since the vast majority of my games are for PC, it makes little difference anyway, save for getting the physical items early and allowing me to install some games early despite not being able to play them.

I ordered on Amazon UK and I've chatted them 4 times to make sure they will not screw with my Collector Edition and every time they reasurred me.
They said it will be dispatched on the 18th and Arriving Estimated on 22 May (which is today..but prolly it will be later on since it's still night here and the different of timezones is like 2~ hours)..but I EXPECT Amazon UK to send it today as promised..I even deposited the money on my CC just to be safe on the 15th that they charge the money at the right time.
I really hope they will honor it, because this CE is the most important one that I ever bought and I don't want to lose it.
Good thing I have a backup Steam Edition that I will play at launch in just under 24 hours to keep me busy until I receive it.

Amazon UK here! I ordered in Feb 2015, and got an update to my order status at 23:00 on 17th May. "Preparing for dispatch". My location is generally a very easy one for couriers or the royal mail, so I should be good. I have the game installed already from a code I got with my new 970; I gave the code to my friend, because i'd have my own soon enough. Hope everyone gets their parcels on time, and happy witching!
Nope. Wherever EB has a store you can get them to deliver/pickup in store for you, [as I will be tomorrow] get their network to do most of the "heavy lifting". It just so happens that "Belconnen" is the first store alphabetically.

ok cheers. i'm in melbourne, the store i did the pre-order at is only about 5 mins away and i need to go there tomorrow morning anyway to drop my mum off at work so i will ask then.

So both my World of the Witcher and the Witcher 3 Prima Collector's guide have shipped with Prime 2 day but still nothing on my PC CE.
i just got a sms from eb games telling me to pick up my CE in store tomorrow
even once you get to a main road, you gotta watch out for the scorpions and killer dingos. hope the postie has his silver sword ready
EbGames Canada shipped my PC version on Friday but wont get here till Thursday at the latest (stupid holiday on Monday). GameStop US is trolling me (I hope) because when I click on my order # for the xbone version it directs me to an error page saying Game Over. Neither of the books from Amazon.ca have shipped but I did ask for them to use 1 package and I guess they had some issues with the World of Witcher book but got it sorted out in the end.
Okay, if you are a US Amazon Prime member and your order is still showing not shipped, contact customer service through chat. I asked them why the delay and the rep ended up bumping my order to one day free shipping upgrade from my standard 2 day. Woohoo! Amazon Prime rocks.

I'm still sat here waiting for a package that shipped last Wednesday, knowing full well it won't arrive until tomorrow because GAME are complete swines. Has anyone that's ordered the CE from them received theirs yet?

I live in Germany and I ordered CE from the Amazon UK.
My shipment date was always 18th. Now it is almost noon and status still didn't change. I contacted support and they said it is due to be dispatched today and that I will get e-mail confirmation soon. They also said that because I ordered 1 day shipping, they had to ship today so I would not get game before the release day.
