Hypothetically, she could have come along with Foltest's troops to the siege of La Valette Castle, where there was ample need for her talents, and she could have remained there to patch up the casualties. On the other hand, she could have also accompanied Geralt on his adventures; however, if there was a choice in that game between her and Triss, realistically, I suppose it would have required considerable efforts in the writing, in order to make her relevant to the king-slayer plot, and the Summit. After all, she's not a sorceress, but a young human medic -- a nonpartisan healer -- and not much one for politics. We'll have to see how she fares this time.
No plans for a pure stand alone gwent box - we would have to change the game and balance it again etc to match a stand alone card game bar. When ppl buy Gwent now with the expansion they know what they are getting, but when you open it to everybody diffrent cryteria emerge.There is a reason why collectors boxes have gotten increasingly expansive over the last decade... physical content has become really expansive to make.
BTW: Any plans on selling gwent decks as a separate product in the future? I mean, you pretty much made them all now anyhow.

Makes sense... you always could give them to Fantasy Flight for balancing and distribution, though... but thanks for a definitive answer.

Will the second expansion come with the nilfgaard and northern realms decks? If I remember correctly those decks were limited to xbox one players when wild hunt was released. This would be a cool opportunity (in the next year) to make those two decks avaible to ps 4 and pc players.

Is there enough space to sleeve the cards and have them fit in the collectors box? I sleeved the original Gwent cards and now I have no where to keep them. They sort of just slide around in my desk. I don't know what is worse. Having unsleeved cards or having cards that are sleeved but with no box.It comes in the collectors box
