I've already ordered from overseas (Europe) for the decks and also have my Steam version waiting for me. Figure it out kids.

And Kaldire, I think I'll get my info from someone else. I doubt you have a Bat-phone to Gamestop HQ! and I also doubt there would only be a physical PS4 version.

Ahh, screw it. Already bought the pass. If they release it, I might considering buying the physical edition. =)
(huh, found the digital edition at UZ Games website for the double of what I paid to GOG... damn currency devaluation we had.. hehe)

Why the official website is not updadet yet with infos about the stores who are offering the physical copy pre-order?

Here in Brazil i can order it on UZ Games or NC Games websites, but they aren't listed at buy.thewitcher.com ...

Mas custa o dobro do Pass pelo GOG Galaxy! (costs double than GOG's charging for it)

But it's imported and a limited edition box, so that is reason enough for it to be a higher price.

No, it is the Digital Edition Pass (for both expansions), at least it is what they show in their website.

GOG.com sells the digital Expansion Pass which does not include the Gwent cards or any packaging. You get access to Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine when it is available. Available for order on UZ Games and NC Games is the Hearts of Stone Limited Edition which includes a download voucher for Hearts of Stone, as well as two decks (Scoia'tael and Monster) of Gwent cards. It is likely imported from other retailers (probably in Europe), hence the higher price than the digital Expansion Pass.

I thought it could be imported, but the price doesn't make sense if they are just importing it from a retailer, with the taxes and currency they could sell it for a higher price!

If the price in USA is USD 20,00, here in Brazil would be at least BRL 80,00 (without taxes). If i buy and import the box from an USA retailer, i will probably pay at least BRL 128,00 for it, with a 60% import fee. And i'm not even calculating the shipping costs here...

They are selling for BRL 149,00, to me the price it's almost like importing the copy myself from a retailer, it doesn't make sense they are just importing it, but who knows :)

True. I had just read the "Digital Download, No Disk Inside" part. Hadn't noticed the two decks. Well, I don't care for the decks anyway, except ingame... =)

Was hoping the big announcement would be a confirmation on when North Americans could pre-order the LE but it was the trailer. Good substitute (even better for the people who have already been able to pre-order the LE), but now we're still impatiently waiting. Called up EB Games Canada today and the rep had no idea what I was talking about... Go figure.

I stopped by a GameStop here in Buffalo, asked the folks running the joint and they were also clueless. One kid looked it up on their computer and said its DLC only.

I'm on the phone with GameStops around my area - no one has anything but a download code, and they say that they aren't getting the physical copy in at all. Now I'm getting worried!

After the phone rep was confused, I decided to email EB Games. Their response:

Looks like it'd be best to ask WB Games what's happening since Marcin has said retailers will be carrying the title.

HoS Physical Edition US

Hello -

I am wondering what the status of the physical edition of Hearts of Stone is for PS4? I held off buying the expansion pass due to the announcement of the physical edition, but to this day (a day before release), I have not seen a pre-order available at any retailer. Does anyone know when this is coming out? I'd like to play the expansion tomorrow, but I don't want to double dip if this edition is coming out at a later time.

Thanks

In all honesty I don't understand your desire to buy the physical edition, I saw it here in UK at GAME.co.uk.
http://www.game.co.uk/en/the-witcher-3-hearts-of-stone-with-gwent-cards-only-at-game-778935?pageSize=40&searchTerm=the witcher&catGroupId=

However you won't get a Blu-ray disc of the game but just a download code to redeem on Steam/PSN/XboxLive. Furthermore you pay the game almost 20 bucks(or even more) when you can buy it cheaper in digital only for only 8$. The only thing you will get from the physical edition are gwent card decks....but at that price you are better off adding a couple of dollars more and purchase the Expansion Pass and be done with it. This is my suggestion.

I wanted the Gwent decks and I think it would look nice on my shelf next to the retail game. If there were any game or company I'd shell out a little bit of extra money to, it would be this one and CDPR for the experience I received in the countless hours of W3.

I understand your point.
I noticed by checking BestBuy, Amazon and Gamestop that it seems that you can't find the Physical copy in the US. It appears it's only an European offer from what I can see. I checked other Gamestop store in other European countries and all of them seems to offer that particular deal....apparently the US isn't included. Don't know why.

I guess I just don't understand how CDPR is distributing some of their exclusives. The Xbox One Collector's Edition for 2 exclusive Gwent decks - ONLY the Xbox One. Then the PS4, from what i understand got an exclusive physical release of the first expansion including the other two Gwent decks....but they only seem to have released it in Europe? Doesn't make sense to me, and is really frustrating as an American PS4 player :p

Yeah I hear you but I guess it probably has something to do with NA distributor. Europe and US have different distributors. In the US is Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment while in Europe is Bandai Namco. Probably it has something to do with Waner...not sure though.

At this point :) you should purchase the Expansion Pass I guess
