Heavy Spoilers (Shani's party)

HEAVY BOOKS SPOILERS!!!!!

So I was watching Christopher Odd's walkthrough of Witcher 1 because I wanted to remember the hilarious moments at Shani's party ...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=82jYwbcmtzU

At 2:40 .... Dandelion speaks of how Cahir,Angouleme and Milva were present during his death. But he tells Geralt about Regis's death).

When I first played the Witcher 1 I was not familiar with those characters, but after reading the fan translations of the books,
didn't they die fighting at Geralt's side at Strygga Castle trying to save Yennefer and Ciri from Vilgefortz ?

From what I remember, the pogrom at Rivia happened after the battle of Strygga Castle.

Was this a translation error or something ? Or is this a plothole ? Or a possible Plot-twist in the Witcher 3 ? :p/>/>/>/>/>/>/>

He was saying that their spirits came to greet Geralt, since he was dying.

Ending spoiler of the book folows.
'Help me,' Ciri said, firmly and decisively.

At first no one knew what the girl wanted help with. The poet was the first to understand.

Perhaps because he knew the legend that he frequently lectured on and sang its verses. In his

arms he picked up Yennefer. He marvelled at how small and light she was. He would have

sworn that someone helped him lift her. He would have sworn that he felt Cahir's arms

helping. That he caught a glimpse of Milva's braid. He would have sworn that when he took

the sorceress to the boat, he saw Angouleme's little had holding it steady.

The dwarves picked up the witcher, Triss helped them, holding his head. Yarpen Zigrin

blinked for a second, because he saw the two Dahlberg brothers. Zoltan Chivay would have

sworn that Caleb Stratton help him lift the witcher into the boat. Triss Merigold was sure that

she could smell the perfume of Lytta Neyd called Coral and in a haze of yellow-green her

eyes saw Coen of Kaer Morhen.

These tricks were brought to their minds by the dense fog around Loc Eskalott.

Regis is still alive, even after getting blown up by Vilgefortz .... Confirmed by Sapkowski himself in some interview, lol (I wish I had the link for the interview)

Regis is one badass Higher-vampire ... Though it will take him several centuries to heal himself ...

Same, loved that dude ... I hope he heals himself faster, lol, even destroying an entire castle after him getting blown up isn't enough to kill that plougher :p

Really? Poor guy, unless someone breaks the column to small pieces, he´s got a long time to go before being able to regenerate.

Do we know how long it was since Regis 'died'? (I can't remember the timeline of the witcher universe)
But I doubt we see Regis in TW3, in the books it took him 100 years (?) to regenerate from a village lynch, and he had a body 'leftover' afterwards, now he is ash so it will take much longer I reckon.

Well ... he isn't actually "ash", but molten glass, that is scattered ... because the lodge sorceresses destroyed Stygga castle after the battle .... And the plougher will still regenerate .... Even though it will take him centuries if not a millennium :p/>/>

May be some mage can help him regenerate faster. CDPR aren't new to pulling such tricks. Anyway, TW3 is the last opportunity to bring back some old characters. So if they want Regis, they'll devise a plot that brings him back.

I doubt that he will be in Witcher 3 .... But still, it feels comforting to know that that badass dude is not dead yet, lol

Judging by his regeneration ability, even a nuclear bomb would not kill him :p/>
