Heavy Spoilers (Shani's party)

HEAVY BOOKS SPOILERS!!!!!

So I was watching Christopher Odd's walkthrough of Witcher 1 because I wanted to remember the hilarious moments at Shani's party ...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=82jYwbcmtzU

At 2:40 .... Dandelion speaks of how Cahir,Angouleme and Milva were present during his death. But he tells Geralt about Regis's death).

When I first played the Witcher 1 I was not familiar with those characters, but after reading the fan translations of the books,
didn't they die fighting at Geralt's side at Strygga Castle trying to save Yennefer and Ciri from Vilgefortz ?

From what I remember, the pogrom at Rivia happened after the battle of Strygga Castle.

Was this a translation error or something ? Or is this a plothole ? Or a possible Plot-twist in the Witcher 3 ? :p/>/>/>/>/>/>/>
