Hello, Night City!

+
You are V, a cyberpunk. In a world of cyberenhanced street warriors, tech-savvy netrunners and corporate life-hackers, today is your first step to becoming an urban legend.

This sounds much better than what you originally have in the description on the YT trailer, where it says you're a hired gun, so it can make someone easily jump to the wrong conclusion that choosing your career wouldn't be an option.

The trailer has grown on me, the special message at the end brought my hopes up since we get char creation, it all looks very futuristic and punky, I hope we get to see how we interact with NPCs/quests/choices sometime in the future.
true those guys are the only one who dont care only about money like they put themself on our place so ye

I wonder how many people who claim it looks like GTA ever played Cyberpunk 2020.
It just doesnt look like what I was expecting from the first trailer shown.

No, I havent played the original. I havent kept up on the news about it other than it was still being worked on. All I knoww is I LOVED the original trailer and I didnt get to see a lick of what was going on there in this new trailer.

I'm still gonna keep up hope for a good game because its CD PROJEKT RED, and they're a great group of people who can make a good game, but I just feel like we're looking at an entirely different game now, as opposed to what was shown to us

Initial viewing left me cold, but after rewatching it again and again and seeing all the little references you guys put in, it's clear you know your shit.

I can't wait to see more.

This reminded me too much of GTA or Watch Dogs 2. I absolutely hate saying that, but this was my immediate reaction.

I've seen many people already expressing disappointment with the trailer. I think many of us expected a darker, more gritty take on Cyberpunk. The world is too bright and colorful in my opinion. The original concept trailer from 2013 was much more in line with what I hoped for.

Well it was a pen and paper rpg, so it being like GTA would not even compare. So it make sense when you played that game your imagination was creating the world. So now we all see what the game designers see instead. I like the look, I think it's in a tropical area as is. so it makes sense there will be sunny days. doesn't look like the world has been hit with a nuke or something.

agreed but im still hyped knowin that its cd projekt red this game probably coming in 2020 and its going to be great

There's a lot to analyse in that trailer so for now I will say one thing - this was the best "entrance" of a trailer ever. Spencer talking...everything gets hacked all of a sudden...totally CDPR style!

They did it brilliantly, I genuinely thought it wasn't going to be there for a second, and as soon as the screen got hacked I screamed "IT'S CYBERPUNK!".

It will be interesting to see how day-night affects things. Is the city nice like this during the day, and a neon world at night?

Okie...
See that car?... That cool looking car that the MC is driving...
It can fly right?... Like that , Back To The Future car... The Flying Delorean...
It can right?... Right?...

Someone asked in another thread why the sky was so clean. I had to be amused for a bit.

Depending on where it's located, the sky can get pretty blue in a smoggy city. L.A. is a prime example of this; air that threatens your health to breathe, sky that can be nearly as blue as the countryside.
