HELP! Chapter 5 Sweet Revenge Freeze after the Koschey

I am chapter 5 Sweet Revenge just after killing the Koschey just before the second encounter. When I enter the Lab, and Lightning bolt fires down from the ceiling and suddenly the UI for the game dissapears, geralt just stands there unmovable, I can't bring up any menus or do anything else. The game just sits there idling, not frozen, but just in idle anamiation.

What the hell is going on? Nothing on the internet anywhere about this issue?​

If you upload a save before the dialogue (and post the link) I'll try if your save shows the same (mis)behaviour on my PC.

Never seen this happen in a vanilla game. Are you running any mods?

I was running Rise of the White Wolf and a mod that gave an Item to that allowed you to meditate anywhere by right clicking it. I actually found another post eventually and the guy meditated and then went inside the room and the cutscene started, I did the same and it fixed the issue. After that when I entered the room the cutscene began and I was able to progress from there unhindered and finished the game.
