Help for..Following the Thread

I started the quest by trying to follow Angus and I lost him since I got confused.

I went too the sewers but I did not see him there.. I even went into the sewers, and there was no sign of him.

I tried interacting with the guards and I got no where..

Any help would be appreciated.

Angus has a house just north of the hospital; that is where he goes when he runs off.
