Help, I'm Trapped in Tuirseach Castle!

So, here I am, I have just looted the chest with the bear armor, got the four pieces from it, and now I am trapped in the castle. The last enemy won't spawn and the door to the exit won't open. what do I do?

got same problem there was supposed to be a patch that fixed that if your playing on x1 try reinstalling game but make sure you have save files on a different drive or go back to different save and forget about the bear armor

If your Xbox is connected to the internet your saves are stored in the cloud and on your Xbox. As far as I know the sync between your console and the cloud happens during the shutdown. At least your energy settings are set to power off.
You can't move your save files. The only thing you can do is to delete your save files only from your Xbox and do a re-sync with the cloud.

- connect your Xbox to the internet
- shutdown your Xbox
- restart your Xbox
- delete the whole The Witcher 3 game data and all your add ons
- delete your save data only from your Xbox
- make a clean install of The Witcher 3
- install all your add ons
- start the game and the re-sync of your save files will start automatically

Remember: you'll do this at your own risk.

I have the same problem. I don't know if it's a New Game Plus or a latest version thing but I'm sure it didn't happen the first time through. PLEASE FIX IT ASAP.

Trapped in Tuirseach Castle!


I am stuck in Tuirsearch castle just after looting the initial Bear armor (that you need in order to make/upgrade all the other Bear gear...heh). I have tried flipping the switch multiple times and and restarting from various save points. I even burned some incense and sacrificed 3 of my favorite bottle caps to the xbox spirits. Please help!!!

I have encountered the exact same problem. Purchased and installed all available dlc's, still the same problem. Very sad, especially as I have also encountered glitch with the wolf school armour. The chest on the scaffolding just not responding. Feel cheated and robbed. Ruined my enjoyment of what was otherwise a brilliant game.

I am also trapped here. I wonder if we all work together maybe we can climb onto each other's shoulders and jump out a window? Or maybe someone showing up later could pass a key through the bars .....that would be nice



I made it out with my diagrams! I went back to the entrance (prison bars) just at the bottom there I started jumping against the left hand side and climbed up Then I saw sky so I stepped towards it......then I fell into blackness and kept falling. Just when I was about to give up the screen said loading on the bottom right and all of a sudden I landed on the side of the mountain.from there I tried to climb up towards the right but that wasn't gonna happen so I slid carefully down the mountains towards the woods. Landed safe and sound with my diagrams intact . Good luck everyone!

@Engem It was fixed for me in January, so yeah, they unglitched this.
