Yes, this is true. Overall it's nice that they've made more of the swords more easily accessible, I suppose, even if I feel there's "too much stuff" in general. A lot of it goes to waste.Dona said:I'm re-downloading the game rn so I'll tell you when it's finished. At least you can find that sword instead of buying it?
I like that the trousers with the resource name "Abyssal Leggings" are "Halfling Pattern Trousers" in the game. Or that "Demise of the Cursed" is "Bride" or that "Hag's Bane" becomes "The Good Shepherd."Dona said:I love the name "Wild Hunt Clutches."![]()
Who doesn't?Corylea said:I love the name "Wild Hunt Clutches."
Why do I guess that someone in the CDPR studio did this intentionally?Corylea said:I like that the trousers with the resource name "Abyssal Leggings" are "Halfling Pattern Trousers" in the game. Or that "Demise of the Cursed" is "Bride" or that "Hag's Bane" becomes "The Good Shepherd."
Yes, exactly. Some items may still be place-holders, as they either don't have unique meshes, or are otherwise missing something. A lot of the armour pieces also simply have the Vran armour textures, I've noticed that as well - I've only put them in the shop there for testing purposes, anyway.silverhead83 said:Where did they found it ? Some peoples says that they found one of this swords in Salamanders hideout but i still cant find it.Chapter 1 -still havent found any. Some peoples says they have found the Dancing blade in caves of werewolf. Kindo - only some of the swords of your mod showed properly. For some reason others turn the textures on zerrikanterment, dyaebl, reinforced cutlass and armour just dont showed or changes to Vrans armor. Still have no clue why.
Good idea, at least we'll know what we have to look for, and what has been found.Kindo said:As for people who have found some of these swords, I've edited the first post to include reports, at the bottom, with links and all.
Yes, you can definitely just insert an equip template and what not, but it will still be a duplicate of another armor; there's simply no unique mesh designed (or at least not released) for these items, yet.silverhead83 said:Then, just need to figure out how to make this textures right and fix it. That item and armor did showed in game -the two of them for sure. Man. Thats a pain.
Yes, but not all the items found within the reference data must necessarily have been added to loot lists and what not. Like I said, some of these things were added to the game files in 2.0, but only now have they been given proper entries, allowing them to be found within the game. It's not so unbelievable that other items have yet to be implemented. And the "problem" is that the data entries are incomplete, which is why they either have a place-holder equip_template, or missing one entirely. This is not something that can be "fixed" any other way than to add these entries manually - but they would then be duplicates of something else, as we don't know if any unused, unique meshes even exist, yet - but it doesn't make them any more of "official" items that are supposed to be in the game. Either they have plans for them in future updates, or they are remnants of ideas that never reached fruition, or they were simply made for some form of testing purpose.silverhead83 said:Dont think so.They are released. The should be. I think the problem is in someting else. Im sure you can find them and use them. I have found dancing blade/dancer and it has appearance like at the picture. Its obviously something else.
When modders paw through the game files, they always find stuff that was planned but not implemented. Some of it is in a complete enough state to be implementable ... and some of it is not. Sometimes the things that weren't implemented weren't put into the game for excellent reasons; at other times, the developers simply ran out of time and didn't manage to finish an implementation. This is a completely normal state of affairs, and is not a sign that Kindo is doing anything wrong.silverhead83 said:Dont think so.They are released. The should be. I'm of the same opinion, so I think only the items that are complete can be found in-game, as it would make no sense putting a half finished one in.Corylea said:When modders paw through the game files, they always find stuff that was planned but not implemented.
