help msvcp_01.dll missing

I tried reinstalling the microsoft c runtime library and it didnt help. I updated everything through windows and reinstalled the game and it didnt help.
regsvr32 from cmd run as administer says "the module 'msvcp140_1.dll' was loaded but the entry-point dllregisterserver was not found. make sure that 'msvcp140_1.dll' is a valid dll or ecx file and then try again."


any advice?


UPDATE - solved at Solved: The code execution cannot proceed because MSVCP140.DLL WAS NOT FOUND - Answer HQ (ea.com)
It says to install both the x86 and x64 versions of the microsoft visual c++ redistributable. It was problem in more than one scenario.

The original error message comes from REDprelauncher.exe. The game has all the updates and is being used through the epic game launcher.

I tried all the above options and none of them fixed it. I looked through some of the comments too. I searched for the dll using file explorer and could not find it. I can't figure out how to download the dll from msvcp140_1.dll - Winbindex (m417z.com) or where it goes.

I bought cyberpunk on epic as well, it worked for the first day just fine. unfortunately I had to do a clean install of windows 10 the next day. after installing the microsoft C++ redistributables (both x64 and x86), epic games, and cyberpunk 2077, I was given the following error:

Hello, I have exactly the same issue as you have/had. I've contacted the support, but Im still waiting for a reply. Did you find any solution?
