So if I understand correctly, you installed mods and your game just crashes now?

If so, the obvious answer is a conflict between your mods, you not installing the mods correctly (including requirements) or installing a mod that is not compatible with your game version.

If you have like 5-6 mods or less, feel free to post your mod list here and I can take a look for you. If you got more than that installed, you can still post your list but that would take more time than I am personally willing to spend on helping you locate the culprit(s) but other members might be willing to put in the time. If no one is willing to do that, you'll have to do it on your own. Go on all your mods' pages, make sure you read the main pages for requirements and possible particularities on installing these mods and look in the comments to see if you can locate conflicts with other mods.

If you didn't install mods then what do you mean by:

Sorry my friend, as I've said, going through all of these mods to figure out what is the issue is far more time than I'm willing to spend on this and you use a lot of mods that I've never used, thus I don't know of any conflict off the top of my head from looking at your list.

Maybe someone else has some of these mods and already knows of a conflict. As I've said previously, if no one is willing to put in the time for this, you'll have to do it.

Alternatively, you could try disabling them and playing the game. If it still crashes, that likely means your mods have made permanent changes to your game files and you will have to go through all of their pages to see if you can locate the issue.

If it plays just fine, then turn them back on in batches and play. Whenever you manage to play without crashes, turn on another batch. The moment it crashes you know your culprit is in that batch. Of course, be sure to turn on any known requirements as not turning them on could lead to a misleading crash.

***You could also try the conflict detector tool.

Archive Conflict Checker Tool at Cyberpunk 2077 Nexus - Mods and community (nexusmods.com)

***Note that I have never used the tool and can't vouch for it's efficacy.

no problem thank you

Just one quick question.

You do have frameworks like Cyber Engine Tweaks, ArchiveXL, RED4ext installed right? I randomly took a look at one of your mod - Computer anywhere - and it lists a few of these as requirements.

I don't seem them in your list but I see the DLLs in your report.

Just wanna be sure they're installed because if not, that's one major issue.

I don't use mods so don't know but have mods been affected by the (very recent) patch? Would players need to wait for mods to be updated or are they unaffected?

For the vast majority of mods, you are entirely correct. The patch would have affected them and required an updated version of the mod.

But from the OP's post I assumed, perhaps wrongly, that these mods had just been installed at the moment of the first post. Which is four days after the patch's release and typically way more time than needed for mods to be updated after such a minor patch but I really shouldn't have assumed anything and you bring up a good point.

The fact is, I never even heard of over half these mods, let alone followed their update/progress and it's entirely possible it's just a matter of updating them. At least, those that can be updated. Things like the third person mod, you should just get rid of OP. It's been essentially abandoned for something like a year now and while it still works, there is no telling what kind of issues it causes being a few versions behind.

I use mods in my games as well. Some in OP's list I use, and I have a lot more that they don't. I can say it isn't the mods that have caused my issue with the crashes. They never happened before 2.13 patch and I have been using mods from the beginning. Now, after 2.13, they happen every time I go from Act 1 to the Interlude/Act 2. Multiple new game files, since this issue started, and the crossover point in getting the Relic crashes the game out. Every time. I want to see if anyone that has experienced this can reveal where they were in the game's progress when the issues started happening. If it is at the same point mine crashes, we have narrowed down the part of the code they need to look at from a dev perspective.

Cheers

Unfortunately not. Once a game is saved with mods running, it's borderline impossible to determine whether the cause for the crash comes from the mods conflicting with the code (extremely likely) or the game itself having issues (which is still possible, but nigh impossible to determine if the mods' reference data is also present.)

In order to confirm it's a game crash, we'd need to play the game from the beginning up to that point with no mods installed at any point. Removing mods won't work, as the reference data will be forever present once the game has been saved. It can't be removed.

Fair enough. Figured I would ask the experts. Thanks for the feedback!

Well, I wasn't suggesting any solutions -- I'm suggesting you test it to determine if your issue occurs in a vanilla game. Nothing can really be done until that point. One of four things will be true:

1.) The game will run correctly if starting a new game. This means mods are likely causing the problem.
2.) The game will run correctly if starting a new game, but it will crash when loading the old saved game. This means reference data is probably causing the issue.
3.) The game will run correctly if starting a new game AND will load the old save correctly. This means an active mod is probably causing the issue.
4.) The game will crash with the same error, even though it's running a new game under vanilla conditions. This means the issue is in the game, installation files, or system.

Only #4 would be really bad news, as it means you have a rare issue preventing the game from working even under vanilla conditions. If mods are being used, it's most likely a mod issue. Fixing it first requires confirmation, though.

The game was working perfectly before the patch when i play it. I delete the game completely and reinstall few times, try different advice. Nothing work

I have windows 11 update from today
Ryzen 5 3600
AMD 7700 xt.

I don't really know what to do now, i'm a bit sad i had almost finish the game and now i can't play it anymore. I randomsly crash after 5 to 15 minutes of gameplay.

@echarpeur you didn't mention if you have been playing with mods or not? Mods can always break with new updates and cause issues. Even if you had removed a mod, it might still affect your save games. So it's not always easy to get rid of mod related issues. If that's the issue, then it's also good to check out the mods website to see if there is an updated mod version for the latest version of the game.

In general, this is how to perform a clean installation:

However, if you have never ever installed mods, you can report the issue here:
