'K, we seem to be getting a bit off-topic?
There's a thread on Assassin's Creed here...
http://forums.cdprojektred.com/threads/29437-Assassin-s-Creed-Unity

Please discuss there, not here.

It does not matter even if you buy PS4 now you should also consider buying XBOX as well at one point. Its kinda part of your profession to own every platform.

PS4 have good games in 2015. Uncharted 4 will be probably GOTY again (ofc hopefully W3) You have also Bloodborne, Rime.. and not sure if exclusive No man Sky and Silent Hills

When XBOX one price drops even more (and it will) buy it then. But I dont think they have any proper exclusives coming soon except Quantum Break You can wait.

I am a PC gamer and I play multi-platform games on my PC, but I get a Playstation to enjoy the exclusives. I bought a PS3 for Uncharted Series, God of War series, Metal Gear Solid series, Red dead Redemption (also available on XBox 360), Infamous, and the Last of Us, and It was worth every penny. I am going to get a PS4, when there are more exclusives available. I go for Playstation, because I like the exclusives more. I'm not into first person shooters such as Halo, and for some reason I find Gears of War to be bland (I know I'm weird :)). Also many of the Xbox exclusives get released on PC as well, for example Alan Wake, Titanfall, Dead Rising 3, and Ryse, so it's another reason for me to get a Playstation.
For me it comes down to exclusives, otherwise there isn't much difference.

21FPS with two guys on screen just talking in a room with no major effects? Running at 900p and locked to 30FPS? I think this is lazy devs. Metal Gear Solid V runs at a near constant 60FPS with drops sometimes into the 50s. It runs native 1080p on PS4 and is an open world game too. MGSV also looks better than AC:U in some aspects. I don't want to start any argument. My point is that I think a game preforming this poorly is due to the devs. Kojima Productions has got a game that looks the same or better running way better than Ubisoft has on the same hardware. Even the Xbox One version of MGSV is 60FPS at I think 900p.

Clearly Ubisoft has lied about this new Assassins creed using "Every ounce of the PS4/Xbox's power"

MGSV is a last gen game, ported to current gen consoles. Looks alright (if you can forgive the frequent low res textures, lack of texture filtering and annoying texture/object pop-in), but graphics wise Unity takes the cake. Even if it's a badly optimized, buggy turd of a game.

FOX was made with high end PCs in mind. I think they look similar, but MGSV I think has better character models. This AC shot is high on PC. MGSV is PS4. I wasn't sure exactly what was PS4 or Xbox One when it came to AC so I just found a PC shot. PS4 probably looks even worse than this

Anyway, Black Friday is coming up. From the deals I've seen it looks like the Xbox One is going to be $329 with Assassins Creed with a $50 gift card at Target. Seems like the PS4 at Target is $399 with GTA V and The last of us at Target. If you're gonna get a console I'd say do it now. Probably some Wii U deals I haven't seen yet too.

Typical promotional BS. The game is designed around the lowest common denominator, the 7th gen consoles. Not PC, or PS4 or Xbox One. The development of the game started on PS3 & 360. That's why it's running 1080p & 60fps on PS4 since there isn't anything major differences between the current and last gen versions outside from the obvious resolution boosts and more detailed effects.

And yes, I do like the cleaner look of the FOX engine more compared to that AC:U shot but that's purely subjective. In terms of graphics engines, the AC:U one is far more impressive.
