Help! Which version of Witcher 3 on PC should I play?

Ok, so I've had to delete and reinstall my game as The Witcher 3 kept "not responding" for me after downloading and installing all the free DLC's up to this point. I am not sure which DLC caused the issue, so I am not going to install them at all.

I still have my saves which are mainly on patch 1.05, but I was wondering If I should just start over and play on the first release of patch 1.02? I've read somewhere online (sorry I can't quit remember) that some people recommended playing version 1.02 since patches after 1.03 introduced the infamous pop-in, and seems to have reduced performance for some users.

Any recommendations would be appreciated for staying on Patch 1.02 or whichever patch you recommend playing it on.

I may not be the one to ask but I'm playing on the most recent patch (1.05) and have had no CTDs and only occasional texture pop. I suggest playing on the most recent patch or waiting until Monday since I believe they are releasing a "Hot fix" for some of the issues. Good luck Ninja

1.03, play at HIGH without any sharpening. Not ULTRA.

I haven't had any CTDs and while I had three inventory crashes in 1.02 on my first playthrough, I found it to be less buggy than my second playthrough on 1.05.

Hmm, OK thanks for replying everyone... I guess I'll take my chances with 1.05 again, since I do have 70 plus hours into that save and hopefully no more crashes. Although mine would not flat out CTD it would just pause for a few mins, I would ALT-TAB-DEL and it would say Witcher 3 not responding but then it would unfreeze itself....
