Hey, You Wanna Look at my Stuff? (Bug)

Just started doing this quest, and it asks you to track the scent using your Witcher Senses after the Gnome runs off. Well you track the scent and he ends up being right around the corner but there is no dialog options at all. The quest doesn't update him after you find him, it just stays like that with no dialog options. You cannot press anything by him because there is no option.

Has this been an ongoing bug because I searched it and found a decent amount of people reporting it.

Someone said that this bug was actually supposed to be fixed in the 1.07 but only fixed it for people who couldn't finish the quest after starting it, now people who just started it from the beginning cant finish it either.

Started a new game after patch 1.07 and got this also.

yup I have it too. The one and only random quest that I've come across in what has to be at least 40+ hours since I finished what I thought was my very last quest. I still cant do "tower out of no where" too.
