Homosexuality in The Witcher - shocking new revelation!

There's been quite a lot of discussion recently about gay sex scenes in Witcher mods. However, you'll be shocked to learn that there are at least two gay sex scenes in modules you've already played!Yes, I can exclusively reveal that both Deidre Ademeyn and Sabrina, in Price of Neutrality, are in fact men. Not even transexuals - just transvestites. You can verify this by opening The Price of Neutrality in D'Jinni; in the module explorer, find Character Templates and inside that, m1_deidre and m1_sabrina. Double click (or right click and select 'open') and their properties come up in the properties window. And there it is, clearly for all to see: 'Gender: GENDER_MALE'. As far as I can see the only female in the whole module is the little servant girl who comes running up to you to urge you to surrender Deirdre!

Now what does that say about Geralt's perceptiveness? He slept with both of them and didn't even notice he was doing it with a guy?

Maybe he didn't mind - maybe he just swings both ways?

Maybe, but still I wouldn't expect him to refer to them as "she" afterwards :)

Maybe they're hermaphrodites, and the game engine doesn't account for it as a gender...~ Roxy

If they're traveling incognito as women, you expect Geralt to blow their cover by calling them "he"?

In the secrecy of his journal? Of course! "Dear diary, you won't believe what happened to me today..."

I'm voting for the "swings both ways" theory. Geralt seems to a have a little difficulty keeping his pants on sometimes. Maybe this was an emergency. ;D

*giggle* That witcher metabolism must be even more different than I'd realized, if they can have sexual emergencies. :)

Or maybe you're all over-analyzing and a developer made a mistake...Selected the wrong gender but selected the correct model?

ROFL...... :DI duno Guy's and Gals, I think Geralt is as straight as they come, he speaks to all men with total disregard, and lets be honest even Sigfreed (sp?) the great knight of the flaming rose is far from buff enough for Geralt, but given the fact of this devastating evidence maybe our beloved Witcher if not a missionary-style kind of guy..... ???

My goodness. And how DO you know what Geralt's taste in men is like? Some of us prefer slender guys to beefcake; perhaps Geralt does, too. Or do you have personal experience with his taste in men? :)

Nah, but I have some gay friends, and they work out all the time, most gay men take pride in how they look, I'm not attracted to men but If I think a guy is good looking I'm not afraid to admit it, I leave that to the homophobic. But lets face it other then Geralt and the other Witcher's in the pro-log, can you name any other good looking men ? ;)

It's true that a lot of gay men work out assiduously, but certainly not all of them. I have gay friends, too, and some of them work out and some don't. The ones who are slightly built don't seem to have trouble finding partners.

1. King Foltest. 2. Dandelion isn't my type, but if he keeps his mouth shut, he's okay to look at. :) 3. Zoltan. No, I'm not joking. His personality is so engaging that he looks fuzzy and cuddly to me. 4. Vincent. Yep, he just looks like any ordinary guy, but he's a very good man and takes a lot of risks to make Viziima a better place, and that makes him look good to me.

No good looking guys in the witcher ??? are you mad, Karmarapture? ;DGeralt (sure, that goes without saying), Yaevinn, Dandelion, Foltest and even Jacques de Aldersberg (you read that right) --OK, so i like a little evilCory is right about Zoltan .. he's awesome and i wouldn't let his height get in my waySiegfried isn't even that bad, from some angles he looks pretty good (of course the mostly cross-eyed closeups don't help)
