Usually i just refund if game is released in such broken state, but only because this is CDPR, whom i respect, i'll give a chance and will wait patiently. Thank You guys for fixing bugs!
p.s. How big is update actually? I have 46 Gb of free space and it says i have not enough space for this update

Thank you for the continued work CDPR!

Something new for me, after this update my FPS is around the 40-60 range. 1.03, I could get higher and my custom settings before 1.04 (1080TI) I managed to find a nice 60-70fps region.

Even if I drop the res to 1024x768 and select the 'low' preset, the frame rate doesn't seem to want to get any higher. I've looked through all the settings, messed with max fps, vsync and everythign else on offer, but it just won't budge.

As soon as the hotfix went out my game started crashing at random points while walking around night city, every 500 meters or so no matter what I do. I've restarted my PC multiple times, installed the new NVIDIA drivers, reinstalled the drivers, cleared all drivers and installed the new ones again. I've also lowered my graphics settings to the lowest they can go. Before the hotfix I had no issues other than lackluster framerate, I am now getting near 60 fps as opposed to 40 I was getting prior, though I would gladly play at 40 fps for a working game. I don't know what to do other than wait for the next update I guess.

Please separate RTX Reflection settings between glossy and glass

Glossy is too expensive

Still can't play the game due to "content file locked". Was playing fluently, until suddenly, game just had a problem so tried to restart the game. Game said to update and I did, until it literally locked the game and make it unable to play at all. Waited for long time and willing to do so, but what I don't get is, why is game content locked and unable to update and play? Is there a post that I missed somewhere that I have to wait for it to be unlocked to play?

First of all. Thanks for fixing the game and trying to get rid of all the bugs. I had the problem, that I needed more than 70 GB of free disk space to finally install the update, even tho it had only 570MB. Please try to fix this updating problem since it's hard to always keep 140GB of space just for Cyberpunk free :)

After yesterday hotfil1.04 install I got boost of my fps up to 30-40fps to total 70-80fps. Today I start the game and i back to 30+- . Anyone had similar run? or any solution? I m running Ryzen 5 1600x and nvidia 1080 . Before anyone asks, yes - all my pc win+drivers are up to date.

Are we supposed to see an update on steam? Or is that something fast and "hidden"?

Hi, we have to talk! I played titles like CoD Black Ops Cold War without any problems, but even with the newest patch I can't play Cyberpunk! WTH?! The game ALLWAYS crashes at the car scene after discovering the iguana in the box! No matter how clean I start my system, with or without starting the EXE file as Admin, nothing helps!
I am so disapointed that I probably want a refund...
My system: Intel Xeon W3680 @ 4.1 GHz, GeForce GTX 1060 6GB with 460.79, 12 GB RAM, Windows 10 64x with all Updates, playing via Steam

In General, the problem is the following plan. I uploaded a new patch today, the game was updated, everything was fine. But when the download passes and the game goes to the open world, then my mouse is stupidly disabled. And any, tested on different. Reconnecting doesn't help. The system is working normally, the mouse / cursor is moving. But once you start the open world, it immediately goes to waste. The situation is funny because when you turn on the menu, the cursor moves, you leave the menu-an instant dump. Crooked patch? Does anyone have the same?

We obviously define RPGs differently, since most of the stuff mentioned in that post has little to do with role playing, and a lot to do with quality of life improvements and adding arbitrary features, for the sake of having them. How does sitting in a jail cell or having the ability to take your shorts off enhance your experience? Also, complaining that the game doesn't have as many customization options as you'd like it to does not discount it as a role playing game.
And if the OP doesn't like the loot system, he *shouldn't use it*. How's that for roleplaying? I myself don't enjoy picking up every acorn I see, so I don't. If I happen to want more money, then I do. What exactly is he complaining about, here? That the game gives you too much loot? Seems like a good problem to have.

Lastly, I'm sure CDPR appreciates all of this valuable feedback, but be realistic about your demands. You can't expect them to go back and completely redesign entire systems from scratch, or record 700 new lines of dialogue.

I think the crafting system is fine. If you don't like it, you can always try to pick a higher degree weapon on the map or during certain jobs (e.g Fenrir sub machine gun is OP). For now they have more essential stuff to solve.

For some reason, the Game creates a copy of itself in the location the game is installed, then updates, then removes the copy.

i.e you need double the space of the game during an update.
its stupid, I had to uninstall a few games to get space...

Here's a list of things that should be indeed in the game or fixed. However, I removed some parts because I don't agree and added some. Things that are not listed as optional should be a must.

Quality of Life

- Walk toggle for keyboard.

- Key re-mapping for certain elements. (Do not force us to map a key. For example I want crouch toggle to be Cntrl i should NOT have to change my Hold Crouch. I want it left blank)

- Menu mouse sensitivity separate from in-game mouse sensitivity

- Accessibility features missing (ie: text scaling for menus).

- In-game benchmark feature.

- Missing a toggle aim feature.

- Ability to disable objective marker.

- Ability to lower ADS sensitivity.

- Mouse smoothing

- Add proper ultrawide (21:9, 32:9) support.

- Add loot by area or/and autoloot feature.

- Add "stash all" feature.

- Add transparency option for hud elements.

- Add toggle mouse acceleration.

- Driving markers and onscreen trajectory (alternative GPS). (alternate GPS Optional)

Gameplay and immersion

- Add few options for some of the character creation features (hair color, tattoos, skin complexion, scars, etc).

- Animations for eating and drinking (excluding scripted ones). (Put an option in the game menu) However do it the way RDR2 did it. In combat, no animation. Out of combat, use animation.

- Unable to remove underwear outside of inventory.

- Vehicle customization. (optional)

- Apartment customization. (optional)

- Very few actual merchant stores in quantity and variety.

- Add garages or parking lots. (optional)

- Crowds have low level of reactivity and awareness to the game world.

- Population density broken?

- Very few interactive NPCs outside of missions with meaningful dialogue.

- Very few options to meaningfully construct a personality to V. You get to choose missions endings, but not an actual persona.

- Player cannot smoke. This should be a choice. If Johnny can do it why can't you? YOU ARE V.

- Weapon mods and skill trees largely irrelevant outside of marginal and mostly numerical improvements to combat. (optional)

- Lack of emergent gameplay events in the game world (ie: dynamic and random triggers).

- Unable to alter character's appearance (barbershop, tattoo parlors, plastic surgeon).

- Lack of character reflection outside of the few mirrors available. This furthers the disconnection between the player and the character. (what's the purpose of customizing your character if you only see him 1 time a day in the mirror)

- No ownership of items (you can rob NPCs under their nose)

- No prison or lasting crime system. (optional)

- Wanted system is largely underdeveloped, with cops spawning out of nowhere and disappearing shortly after.

- Cybernetics lack variety in meaningful choices that alter gameplay (except for limbs weapons). Deus Ex has far more impactful mods that actually change the way you approach combat. (optional)

- The lifepaths are frustratingly brief and have little impact other than dialogue choices. V is essentially the same character regardless of past.

- The traffic AI is lackluster and there are too few cars driving around for a large metropolis.

- Trains were obviously cut, even though the whole infrastructure is visible. (optional)

- The world interaction is quite minimal. Among items that should be interactive: chairs, benches, toilets, stools, sinks, gym equipment, light fixtures, restaurant menus, smartphones, taxi, trash bins and dumpsters, most merchant stalls, microwaves, dancing floors, gaming tables, arcades. (THIS IS A HUGE ISSUE FOR ME. IT'S AN OPEN WORLD. LET ME DO OPEN WORLD THINGS.)

- You cannot preview wardrobe and weapon purchases.

- Loot system overdone, invasive and distracting. You are constantly showered with redundant and marginally better items and have no attachment whatsoever with your fashion and weapon choices. (Optional)

- Enemies are too spongy and level design forces frontal assault way too often.

- Robotics and drone control largely absent (outside of scripted missions).

I 110% approve and support this list! These changes and additions should be priority and especially the immersion on the Open World. The world does not feel alive and i feel very disconnected from it as a player and THAT is a HUGE problem for an Open World game. Let me immerse into this wonderful looking universe, please!

The game is completely unplayable for me constant crashes every couple of minutes longest it has gone without crashing is about 10 minutes my specs are well above recommended but it crashed maybe 20 times in the time it took to get to the bot mission this patch did nothing to fix the situation also tried on my HTPC same story constant crashes game looks cool but feels like a piece of alpha software like a cake that has great ingredients but came out of the oven after 5 minutes...

I believe the problem with the big patch is how the download/updating mechanism currently works and throws too much work at a single harddisk at the causing a long period of disk queue length.
The archive files are quite large and are being downloaded and processed simultaneously.
A single harddisk doesn't like that and will have a hard time to serve all disk I/O.
If you'd look at the resource monitor in the windows task manager, you can see a lot of simultaneous read and write activity on those .archive.download files. It is working you really gotta have a lot of patience. Especially if you have a relatively weak HDD where the download and update is performed on.

After a few hours the update is finally done. Back to V-reality!
