Hello, hope this comment will get to be seen by the moderators/devs from CDPR. I'd like to see added in the settings the following:
- possibility to have third person cutscenes and moments when you talk to npc's to be third person(love the first person gameplay btw)
- the option to zoom out the mini-map cause it becomes very frustrating when you suddenly have to turn right and then you end up into an wall
- also if you add a new game plus, i'd highly appreciate that when I start again to have all the items/perks/lvl ups without buffing the enemies or at least to have something to check where I get to choose that. I think the new game+ should let me have an easier time and enjoy the loot i gathered in the previous walkthrough fully

With 1.05, my performance got back to vanilla state. i have a 3700x and got around 80% usage while driving, with the hex edit. with the new update the cpu usage maxed out at around 50%. CDPR or AMD cleary do not know what they are talking about, if they say, everything runs as intended on 8+ core cpus. Enable SMT for 8+ core cpus!

Misty tarot cards are still invisible when you ask her to read tarot for you. Shouldn't be THAT hard to fix it...

After waiting a while longer, found Cyberpunk.exe process still in memory and killed it. After that it installed and completed the patch.. Really CDPR...

  • Multiple stability improvements, including crash fixes.
Miscellaneous
  • Offscreen explosions make noise now.
PC-specific
  • [AMD SMT] Optimized default core/thread utilization for 4-core and 6-core AMD Ryzen(tm) processors. 8-core, 12-core and 16-core processors remain unchanged and behaving as intended. This change was implemented in cooperation with AMD and based on tests on both sides indicating that performance improvement occurs only on CPUs with 6 cores and less.
  • Fixed an issue with the way Raw Input is collected.
  • Removed the use of AVX instruction set thus fixing crashes occurring at the end of the Prologue on processors not supporting AVX.
  • Removed debug console to prevent functions that could lead to crashes or blocked quests. This doesn't mean we don't want to support the modding community. Stay tuned for more info on that.
  • Ray traced reflections should no longer seem too bright in comparison to the environment.
  • Fixed an issue with Steam Overlay crash on game shutdown.
  • Removed the memory_pool_budgets.csv file. which was not connected with the final version of the game and had no influence on it (it was a leftover file used during the development to estimate memory usage. It had no effect on how much memory was actually allocated). Perceived performance increase after editing the file may have been related to restarting the game.
Console-specific
  • Improved image sharpness with Chromatic Aberration and Film Grain on.
  • Settings should no longer reset to default after several game session restarts.

You can write three lines to explain you're thinking about the memory_pool_budgets.csv file in a possibly somewhat condescending way but you've got nothing to say as context or rationale beyond a wink for "V appears more modest in the inventory preview after the half year montage"... What was so pressing about that 'issue' that it's in this 'panic patch'? There really weren't more important issues to address?

That actually made me angry...and I felt insulted after all the marketing bs...not for that little fact itself but for what it represents. As a professional software tester of 20 years experience (not in the game industry) I'd say this needed another twelve months of development minimum (and some qa for consistency across the game systems and interfaces).. and then 8-12 more play testing and ironing out the kinks.., (all these game breaking issues fixed in just this patch...was it play tested at all? And if it was were the devs given a fair chance to resolve the issues thrown up? It clearly doesn't look like it) but that doesn't account for the inconsistent interface; the underwhelming character generation and the sense that, as with the first rescue mission, the game has been polished to appear (if you're not paying too close attention) to what was shown in the gameplay trailers but what appeared there to be degrees of freedom and levels of detail has, in reality now been shown to be smoke and mirrors...window dressing... Honestly, I'm disappointed and saddened. I said after Fallout 4/76 I wouldn't be taken in again...but I was beguiled and suspended my disbelief for you...

'Early Access' at best...and you've stopped modding for the indefinite future...

Well, Merry Christmas...thanks for topping off a fantastic year...

BTW, my criticisms are directed at management for selling one thing and pushing out another...the devs have my respect; for all that that is worth...

"We won't put it out 'til it's ready!"...ha! you make me laugh...

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE make ALL the keys in the pc version remappable, as you did in the Witcher 3. As a lefthander, WASD & F make the game unplayable for me. I mean, I can choose what style of pubic hair I can have in my chr creation, but not what keys I want to use in-game? I think your definition of 'player choice' is a little different from mine, guys! Jokes aside, PLEASE fix this. There are virtually columns of complaints in both the Steam & GOG forums about this from lefthanded & AZERTY KB players. This is a critical issue in access ability for pc gamers. It also makes it very difficult for disabled & one-handed players to access the game.

So, I'm stuck with not being able to play the game. Update won't finish completing on steam, even after verifying intergrity of the game. Way to go CDPR; need to fire your entire QA team.

@TheBigStifmeister - Part of the reason why this game is resource hungry is that they moved away from using "baked lighting". Global illumination is costly. It was in Control, but Control was a very linear game. In Red Dead Redemption 2 they had to scale it back quite a bit.

That sounds like a problem with STEAM. Probably too many people trying to download the update all at once.

I hope this is not the case because just as you stated it makes the whole nudity available concept just as bad as the game. If it is not a feature that can always be usable it is just awkward and makes me question the decision.

I just wanted to say THANK-YOU to the devs who are working hard on fixing everything.
Also, guess I have been lucky, cause other than a couple cosmetic glitches, the game has played fine for me so far.

Game is amazing,is it possible for V to be full nude?She is nude however in the inventory screen but not outside of that.Looking at herself in he mirror she have panties on.Anyway she can go commando?

UPDATE 1.05 . I can't get out of the braindance of the mission "the hunt"
Every time I enter the slide changes and asks me to see a section that does not exist.
WTF
I can't continue the game

enable smt for all amd chips not just 6 cores or under .... the 8 cores + also benefit from my testing makes no sense that all intel chip can use alll threads however you are limiting amd processor..... ur fix isnt a fix

Not without a mod or exploiting a glitch. It's utterly ridiculous.
