After patch 1.05 the game ending glitches and resets seem to be fixed but many of the smaller things still remain such as not being able to pick up items, falling through floor, floating, weird NPC stuff, menus not closing and staying up in corner until restart, Vs blurry vision also got stuck, etc...

BUT the graphics look AWESOME! I dont know if its just me but the game looks sharper and more vivid. Gameplay is smooth and some of the bigger problems look as if they've been fixed or at least tweeked. Im playing on ULTRA with only 1 or 2 settings lowered and locked in @60fps.

My processor(i7 4790k) is running at 49% with a GTX 1070, 16 Gb RAM, Asrock Z97 Extreme9, M.2 NVME

@CDPR Please respond ok?

So I've asked before with no replies,
I have a gaming laptop atm. I have all of my drivers updated and everything tweaked out for performance.
I can play RDR on the highest settings with a smooth 60fps, any game to date at high to ultra at 60+ fps...
I've uploaded a screen shot of this because I'm confused.
I can't play this game with RT on or over Medium on lighting, RT for shadows and reflections? Nope! I lose all playability!
Running rough on 40 to 62 fps on my settings.
I've tried turning up and down settings in game and have spent over a total of 21 hours testing different combinations to make it smooth, because I want to enjoy a smooth game play experience with RT on at least Ultra for Lighting, which is 1 up from Medium.

It is called in the game language 'desynchrony', it happens a lot in all games where the processing fails a few lines of code. Sometimes it has no relation to the code and only a given moment of reading data. In online games, this bug is commonplace.

  • Fixed an issue with Delamain appearing upside down at the end of Don't Lose Your Mind.

  • Elizabeth Peralez stops being excessively insistent with her calls after her job offer is refused.
  • The scene with Misty and Jackie now starts properly after leaving Viktor's clinic.
  • Wakako's dialogues no longer get blocked after finishing Search and Destroy.
  • Walking away from Stefan in Sweet Dreams shouldn't prevent other characters from calling you anymore.
  • Brick’s detonator should now be properly interactable for players to disarm. Or set off. Your call.
  • Elevator doors should now correctly open in The Heist.
  • Saul now correctly gets out of cars in Riders on the Storm.
  • Fixed an issue with not receiving new calls or messages after running too far away from Frank in War Pigs.
  • Jackie now correctly leaves the factory after the combat is finished in The Pickup.

Gameplay
  • Improved the reaction times of NPCs taking cover.
  • Corrected the number of shots needed to kill civilians from a distance while in combat.

Miscellaneous
  • Offscreen explosions make noise now.
PC-specific
  • [AMD SMT] Optimized default core/thread utilization for 4-core and 6-core AMD Ryzen(tm) processors. 8-core, 12-core and 16-core processors remain unchanged and behaving as intended. This change was implemented in cooperation with AMD and based on tests on both sides indicating that performance improvement occurs only on CPUs with 6 cores and less.
  • Fixed an issue with the way Raw Input is collected.
  • Removed the use of AVX instruction set thus fixing crashes occurring at the end of the Prologue on processors not supporting AVX.
  • Removed debug console to prevent functions that could lead to crashes or blocked quests. This doesn't mean we don't want to support the modding community. Stay tuned for more info on that.
  • Ray traced reflections should no longer seem too bright in comparison to the environment.
  • Fixed an issue with Steam Overlay crash on game shutdown.
  • Removed the memory_pool_budgets.csv file. which was not connected with the final version of the game and had no influence on it (it was a leftover file used during the development to estimate memory usage. It had no effect on how much memory was actually allocated). Perceived performance increase after editing the file may have been related to restarting the game.
Console-specific
  • Improved image sharpness with Chromatic Aberration and Film Grain on.
  • Settings should no longer reset to default after several game session restarts.
  • Fixed visual issues occurring during the transition between The Heist and Love Like Fire.
  • Corrected the look of several vehicles.

  • Fixed an issue whereby it was possible to fall down the elevator shaft in Megabuilding H8 in Automatic Love.

after that bug, you still had one job. You must repair your traffic and peds logic because their suck. Make the car traffic gone or change randomly at least 1km or 2km. I believe this game still would be an epic games

Hey guys, good to see you're fixing things. I found a super frustrating bug that needs to be fixed:

During The Pickup, decrypting the Militech Shard immediately after the prompt about Encrypted Shards does not give you the $10,000 stored. After the completion of the mission, V says in a call to Dex that he's keeping the money but nothing is wired across.

Other user experiences have showed that you receive the money ONLY if you decrypt the shard after the call with Dex at the end of the infiltration.

Fix this to allow for users who decrypt the shard when prompted by the game do not miss out.

Edit:
- zoom out the minimap when driving to plan for turns in advance - the map size stays extremely small.
- add the current distance to each objective in the journal - sometimes I was to do gigs that are closest to me but the only way to do that is to select each one, exit out of the menu, find the yellow blip showing the distance, then reopen the menu and select another gig. This gets very frustrating after 4-5 different objectives.

Edit2: fixed typos xD

Yeah I ended up keeping RT for Lighting on Ultra, RT for shadows and reflections doesn't sell it for me.
Lighting is a huge part of the game, kept SSR on med with AO off. Getting around 50 to 62 fps just gets rough in parts while driving or for some reason after playing a while, I have to restart my game to get better performance.

Hi there!

I've been experiencing some issues on the PC version after the most recent patch was already installed, maybe this information will be useful for you:

- On the mission where you are at the ofrenda with Mama Welles and is our turn to speak, all my options get stuck to the first one only and you can't move down to the other options whatsoever (you have to restart the game)

- In the mission "Big in Japan", near the shore area where a female body is found on a corner, there is some scaffolding/platform where you can get stuck while climbing and not been able to climb down (had to reset the game)

- Cigarettes and cellphones keep floating in the air when you speak to Johnny the first time after getting out of "the Afterlife" (after speaking to rogue the first time)

- Doing a mission to speak to our neighbor in Building H10 (the former cop which partners make fun of after his friend's death), when you go to the optional part of the mission to find Andrew's niche, if you climb the stairs with your bike, the bike floats in the air

- The bike get's stuck in several parts of town (sidewalk specifically)

- When calling your car it appears completely destroyed for no reason

- When doing missions and hacking cameras to get access to them, when you change from camera to camera sometimes the enemies appear in T position and/or low res

- The sky blue dot to point with the gun or select things sometimes disappears while playing and it makes it a bit impossible to pick items or shoot enemies, maybe it needs to be a bit more visible? idk

- The biggest issue I have encountered related to dialogues is that sometimes you are talking to a character in a mission and you are getting calls from other characters that you cannot stop from happening (you cannot hang up, it gets answered automatically), so you have the NPC of the mission talking to you at the same time the person at the cellphone speaks too and you have like 6 lines of dialogue because V is answering automatically to both dialogues and it's really confusing! Maybe we could choose to answer those calls later or ignore them while talking to an NPC or get them triggered after our dialogues with the in-person NPC ends?

- At the menu, sometimes the "cursor" appears in random places and it's a bit tedious to move it to any option we would like, maybe when going to menu the default position of the cursor should be on "map" at the middle of the screen?

- Sometimes the text on computers inside the game looks really small and is barely readable

- In some missions when you ping in any device to check what's on your surroundings, the game gets stuck and it takes a couple of minutes for it to "come back"

I think these are all the things I have encountered so far with the latest patch. They don't make the game "unplayable" but a bit "unpredictable".

I hope this information is helpful and thank you for all your hard work on the fixes!

Did this fix the issue with some headwear like bandanas causing you to appear bald in some cutscenes? How about some of the cutscenes in that part of Tapeworm that leads into Chippin' In using the wrong audio clips. Specifically I can point to the part where you climb through the window to get into the hotel room. My male V, while talking using the correct male V voice, grunted using the female V voice when he landed in the hotel room. This also accured when you collapsed right before appearing at the hotel. Very strange. Another two issues I have are randomly being one shot by world geometry as if it think I fell out of a 10 story building (particularly bad when navigating the junkyard) and enemies seemly seeing bodies at impossible angles through walls and becoming permanently alert. Shouldn't alert status be on a timer anyway? Memory Wipe doesn't even help with this.

This patch made my game worse, the performance is worse, graphical glitches appearing on the road, V has decided to T pose on top of bikes now and I have now received the floating gun glitch that I never had before.

I am not mad because the game still actually works for me and I have not had a single crash and I understand the nature of coding and patches means that attempting to fix one thing can unintentionally break another, but it certainly is disappointing to have a patch put the game in a worse condition. Especially the performance issue. This was solved with the SMT mod and such and I took that out because of this patch and I don't like having s modified game that is likely to have massive adjustments made, but I might add it back because having frame drops into the 20s that never happened before isn't really fab.
