Hotfix 1.06 on the way (changelog inside)

+
Good, some of these are really needed, better late than never. But still no fix, after almost a month of game release, for the mutagen boni not applying when reloaded?
Don't get me wrong, the game is awesome, but sometimes i feel like i'm playing a advanced beta...

Right after the weekend we are planning to release a hotfix for PC (1.06). It will address the most reported issues by the community.

You can find the list of changes below. Of course the console version will follow shortly after (will be numbered 1.05) and will include some additional changes such as the save game issues fix and the money cap.

- Fixes the endless loading screen when fighting the Ice Giant during the quest 'Lord of Undvik'
- Geralt's clothes will no longer be wet after leaving the menu
- The gate in the crypt now works correctly during the quest 'Scavenger Hunt: Viper School Gear'
- Fixes the lack of interaction with Roche on Oxenfurt Bridge in the quest 'Get Junior'
- Fixes an issue that prevented players from creating more than one item via Crafting/Alchemy

We will let you know once more details become available.

This is just a hotfix. There are more patches coming with lots of changes.

hm, still no fix for the missing Zoltan Gwent card :( (card should lies benath on Hanged Man's Tree, if people didn't win it in prologue.)

What about PS4 frame rate drops?

What about PS4 frame rate drops (see lots of topics on ps4 forum)?
please answer this, is a fix on the way as in the next patch?

will you ever fix the atricous unplayable fps on ps4?

If the frame rate drops on PS4 its impossible to fix, just do not answer on that question.

You will never fix the frame rate of the PS4 version ? Can you PLEASE reply to this serious problem ? We just want an honest reply...not like " we are working on it" ! Thanks.

Also, if the frame rate on the PS4 is not fixable please could you just say so. This is the thing that really annoys me about game companies, they just won't say when something cannot be fixed. I had months of waiting for Bethesda to fix New Vegas, but it never happened.

Shame there's nothing new about the framerate on ps4 though... framerate in some missions is totally killing the immersion :(

Most asked question by far. Please answer Marcin

Will this patch include a fix to the person(s) in distress bug where the bandit leader did not drop the key? Or is my claywich merchant (who is holding the last gwent cards that I need) going to be stuck in his cage forever? :(

Want to know this too

This is just a hotfix. There are more patches coming with lots of changes.
What about removed shadows, blood splatters? Also since patch 1.03 we have less numbers of NPCs and terrible pop in.
PS4.

There is no blood splatters since patch 1.01.
1.0 version:

Will CDPR fix all of that in the future or game has been intentionally downgraded?

My guess is that this will never be addressed by CDPR and can't be fixed with a patch . If they had any intention of sorting it out or at least to talk about it then they would have done it by now.

Well, as long as you fix geralts clothing from no longer looking wet....because that is WAY more important than not being able to complete quests like Dirty Funds, Faithful Friends, and the numerous prisoners that can not be freed...

Perhaps the problem is worse than we think or hope

You are not alone when feeling that way. But with the game as huge as this, I say we should give dev more time to fix things. But still a very bad impression has been made that tained CDPR 's reputation. Sadly the fate of Cyberpunk....

Given that I'm past every quest listed, the only thing of note to me is the fixing of the crafting bug. What about the mutagen bug? How long will we have to unequip/reequip mutagens? What about the runestone/glyph upgrading bug introduced in 1.05?

When will missing keys get fixed? That Claywich vendor is forever in the cage. Will you even acknowledge this bug? I haven't heard a single word on it. Bug acknowledged 21 days ago. I sent a support ticket in and I was replied to a couple times and asked for useless information (like DxDiag report) and after that I've heard nothing. That was a week back. Nobody seems to want to own up to the missing key bugs. The Claywich vendor isn't the only one, either. Don't Play With the Gods? Unfinished. No key ever spawned. I've read many reports of other missing keys in other locations. This has been a major problem since launch and here we are 3+ weeks later and no fix incoming. I'm generally behind CDPR 100%, but this is starting to get ridiculous.

Also, click for soultion to PS4 framerate problems.

I'm really surprised at the number of people asking if this will fix the alchemy/mutagen bug.

- Fixes an issue that prevented players from creating more than one item via Crafting/Alchemy

It's literally written. Right there. In plain English.

@Marcin Momot

I say it again. Don't let you and the complete patch-supporting-team get under pressure. Let the patch-supporting-team enough time to check every possiblity, so that don't coming new bugs with the hotfix, again.

You do not understand what the mutagen bug is, do you?

Mutagen bug: Slotted mutagens in the character screen lose their basic 10% bonus when loading a save. Re-slotting them returns that basic bonus... AFAIK it is a little more complicated with Green mutagens and their vitality bonus...

Edit: For clarification, the 10% I refer to relates to Greater Mutagens only. 5 and 7% for lesser and basic respectively.

There's two that I'm aware of, one that people care about and one that people don't really care about.

The one people care about is the one where you can't craft an alchemy item that you already have one of.

The other one is that mutagens don't provide their full bonuses unless you re-equip them on every load.

People don't care about missing mutagen bonuses? Please, tell me some more jokes. You're a funny guy.

I think what he means is that a lot of people don't care about it, because they don't even know the bug exists. I really hope they fix both mutagen bugs.
