Hotfix 1.06

Bruh, I have to redownload the WHOLE game. What happened? earlier I was playing Cyberpunk 2077 while the patch got deployed in the background. It got stuck at "applaying patch" and was at 509mb which was the full size of the patch.

I waited for the patch to finish for like an hour but nothing happened. Because of that I decided to restart GOG Galaxy. But that turned out to be a big mistake. It needed to redownload the 1.06 patch from stratch, but it always got stuck at 3%. I restarted GOG Galaxy multiple times after that, but it never got past the 3% mark.

After all that, I decided to verify/repair the game and it's now redownloading the whole game which is sitting at 49gb.

Did anyone else had similar problems with the new 1.06 patch?

Wow... a 63GB Update.
Thats the biggest update I got ever.
Mortal Kombat was around 22 GB.

Can't imagine the shitstorm of a month it must be for the devs..
While I do agree the game is not in the best condition, I have a lot of faith in its future and I'm sure a majority of the community does. Game has so much damn potential, please keep up the hard work.

Hotfix 1.06 is available on PC and consoles! Here is the full list of changes:

Quests

• Dum Dum will no longer go missing from Totentanz entrance during Second Conflict.

Console-specific

• Improved memory management and stability, resulting in fewer crashes.

PC-specific

• Removed the 8 MB save file size limit. Note: this won’t fix save files corrupted before the update.

My game doesn't even launch anymore. Anyone else having this issue? Game was literally fine on Xbox One X for weeks, I hardly had any issues other than some random game freezing and now I can't even play....

Seems consoles is around 17gb, for pc is small compared to that

Thank you kindly for the 8mb fix! I am on GOG and i am one of the lucky ones with no major issues only few visual bugs occasionally that are negligible. And since i found out about the 8mb limit it was always in back of my head limiting my way of playing, thank you so so much for removing that issue <3

Cyberpunk 2077 is by far the best game i have ever played, it is a love letter to gamers and humanity. The kind dedicated people working on it have put love and soul into every bit and part of it. The stories told here have changed my perspective on so many things in life and its a beautiful masterpiece in each sentence. Thank you for making Judy, there has never been anything in this media that impacted me like her character and story and the way its told. Night City and all its tales unfolding in such details hold still so much potential and bring so many possibilities.

The single most important things i could ever hope to say to all the devs, and i hope it reaches them, would be;

"A true artist will put out his work naked, honest, and without any shields or pretenses, he will suffer through all the blows of critique and scorn. And after that, next time he presents his work he will present it in the same way." This is what i see in all of you that have probably twisted everything you hold dear in your artwork to the point of doubt even, just to deliver this honest and true expression of love and affection for beauty and life. So i beg of you, i beg of you don't ever doubt your place in life at this moment, what you have delivered us is only possible because of each and every one of you working on this, no one could have done what you did, don't ever doubt it. You have changed peoples lives, you have changed peoples relationships to each other, you have shown true beauty and opened so many eyes to it and we are all better for it, thanks to you! Seems that way i cant see how managment could make the devs work through this buggy game and release it knowing there were this many issues i feel sorry for the devs over worked under paid while the tosser that let the game release in this condition sits on a fat wallet

open the .INFO file and edit it manually there, for now is an easy fix

With the various blogs/pages out to destroy you, riding the coat-tails of negative publicity, just remember that the actual gamers love the game and appreciate your hard work.
My own personal request:
Please make the mini map zoom out when driving at high speeds. I miss almost every turn off.

Two fixes I am looking for is mod stacking(or not stacking) showing the correct info in the stats tab(stats in general needs fix, so we can min max correctly) and legendary clothing specs showing up on clothing vendors properly..

On PC through epic games. after update. Game will not start. The launcher will open up but when i press play nothing happens and launcher closes. I did a verify but it does nothing like it doesnt even tries. I did a verify on the bonus content and goes through the motions. Anyone else? I dont want to uninstall and reinstall.

The game crashes on the last driver update from AMD, specifically (2020-20.12.1-win7). with an older update specifically Adrenalin-2020-Edition-20.11.1-Nov6 runs quite without problems. as for bugs there are a lot of shows see funnys videos on cyberpunk

I really want to like this game but even with the patches and playing on good hardware, the game has obvious issues. The ai, the cops, traffic in the distance that then vanishes once you get to that spot. The game has horrible physics, driving is terrible, and nothing CDPR can do to fix this. It would take a Cyberpunk 2077 2.0 to fix all the stuff wrong with this game
