How do I use bombs?

I feel kinda stupid but I have no clue how to use a bomb and I have come to a nest in the forest and say "I must blow up this nest" I have the bomb Samum I believe it is called but have no clue how to use it.They covered it in the tutorial but I just can't remember how to do it. Can anybody help?

@sir-diealot: For blowing up nekkers' nests you'd need to use grapeshot bombs. So if you don't have any, you'll have to make some or buy them and come back to that place.

Also, consult information about monsters in your knowledge base after reading some books about them. To do that, enter meditation and select Character > Attributes > Knowledge > Nekkers. It would mention this information about grapeshot bombs. It's somewhat hard to find for the first time and I'm not sure why the info is split in such way between books and the knowledge base, but it's quite useful.

I keep books, since they don't affect encumbrance. But all that info is recorded in the knowledge base as well as in your journal, so you don't need to keep them in the inventory.

You know I just realized that though you told me what bomb to use you never told me how to use the bomb. How do I select it and detonate it?

As long as you have grapeshot bombs in your inventory then all you need to do is go near the nekker nests and look for the prompt . It`s either right click or left click with the mouse . To throw bombs just equip them in you quick slots and use either the Ctrl key to bring them p or the #4 key to scroll through them and I believe R will throw them .
