Well, we've only seen this weird looking Triss model in renders, while in-game everything we've seen has her looking like her Witcher 2 self. The steelbook, which is using the latest versions of Yennefer and Eredin, has Triss looking like Witcher 2 on it as well.

I still like the TW2 Triss outfit better. Much finer detail, no cleavage that book Triss never shows.
May be we will have an Alternate costume of triss that is not revealing any cleavage and face make-up that looks more like TW2 triss.

I also like the TW2 outfit better, but only because I think the design in terms of color and clothing-material looks better to me (just a matter of personal taste). Also her boobs look awesome in the TW2 outfit, even without showing any skin. That is true art I'd say, making boobs look awesome without actually showing their skin.
The REDs did a great job on Triss from TW2, she was sexy in that tight top as well.

In the books, wasn't she supposed to be self-consciouss and insecure about her (presumably magically healed by now) scar on her chest which would lead to her never wearing any low cuts?
IMHO, the TW2 outfit was the best in my opinion, at least from the canon perspective.

There's much argument, which I don't see as anything but retconning, that says the unhealed scar was only psychological. I agree, she should be at least as banged-up as Ves in TW2. The TW2 outfit suited her well.
Somewhere, there's a passage describing Yennefer's breasts as "rounded" when she's lying down. That doesn't immediately suggest a small-breasted woman.yen is known for her small tities so triss has a point here
