TW2 Triss design was almot perfect, a beautiful chestnut long loose hair, would be the 10 out of 10.

TW3 Triss is almost equal, with just the cleavage, for me it doesn´t fits her.

The old one.
In general, a woman does not need to show her tits in order to be sexy.
In particular, in TW2 her outfit was more true to the lore - she was badly burned at Sodden and did not wear revealing clothes. Sure, it was modified for sex-scenes, but, as the one who does not do Triss (unless CDPR makes my Geralt to wake up in her bed :) ) I prefer to stick to the lore. May be we can re-dress her in TW3. That would be fun. :)

I agree, I always play the "canonical" choices, the real Geralt playthrough, but about te cleavage I believe she was healed some time later, and didn´t have the scars anymore? I may be wrong, many years since I read the books, still she doesn´t wear any so...

"They didn't spare with the mightiest spells " [Triss] tonelessly continued, ", with enchantements, elixirs, amulettes and artefacts. The crippled heroes of the elevation shouldn't lack anything. They healed us, cobbled us together, gave us back our former appearance, the hair and the eyesight. You almost see no...traces. But I will never wear a dress with a low neckline again, Geralt. Never!"

from The Blood of Elves, Andrzej Sapkowski

There was a reason for Triss' dress in Witcher 1 and 2. There is absolutely no good reason to change her dress at all and to give her a dress with a low neckline and therefore violating the lore...

I really hope CDPR will change that new dress again. Triss has a "lore requirement" for her dresscode (same is e.g. true for Yennefer who only wears black and white...). There is no need to oversexualize right her. Please, CDPR, only deviate from the book lore if it makes any sense and only if it makes the game actually better...

So her dress from TW2 is the obvious "right" choice here.

It's true that Triss' wounds were healed to a degree that most people wouldn't see them anymore. But that doesn't change how Triss sees herself and how she feels about showing her breast to the world. Triss refuses to wear a dress with a low neckline because of emotional reasons and not necessarily because of physical/visual reasons...

Yes, I remember that she told Geralt she would never wear an open dress ever again, and I don't remember her changing her mind later. In TW2 she was perfect - both sexy, and according to the lore. Now - not so much, and I prefer to keep Triss the way she was. Triss was already named somewhere the most beautiful (or sexy, or whatever) female character in video games, so why sexualize her even more?

Sile was a bit over the top in TW2 because in the books she does not really care about any sexy appearance, but she was not a main character, and it was a minor transgression. With Triss it is both simply unnecessary, and against the lore. I would want CDPR to keep Triss as she was in TW2.

I like both, honestly. Won't mind if they present something else + make Triss have long hair, I think she would look better. After all, she'll be my Geralt's love interest. :)
I also don't mind if CDPR allows important NPCs, such as Triss, to change outfits during the game.

I vote for multiple costumes for Triss, Yen and Ciri. Triss with long hair, yen with short hair (knotted) all of these would be fun !

There might be a reason to "oversexualize" Triss' outfit, I mean, how would she ever compete with Yennefer's charming character?

:troll:

All jokes aside, I prefer the first version too, for reasons already said. Even though CDPR has not implemented Triss' scar in previous games, I was hoping they might do so now. I'm sure she can hide it with illusions to the point that it is not visible at all, but it would be a nice touch to get to see that the scar exists.

I would not go so far as to call CDPR's decision on the outfit lorebreaking, but it is kind of not consistent with Triss' character. Not only because she is self conscious about her scar, but also because she appeared to be "mocking" Sabrina Glevissig and Keira Metz, at the Thanedd party, for wearing extra revealing clothes. One does not wear clothes that he/she "mocks". Even "lighter" versions of these clothes.

Finally, I actually like the old outfit better. Design wise. The new one feels a little bit more rushed to me. It is not as "detailed" as the old one. It is still not a big problem though. After all we are 8 months before release.

There should be a specific option for Witcher one. That green dress was very captivating, especially the rear end.

Fine by me, I actually like Triss' redesigned face as well, she looks more... well looks her 'age' if that makes any sense(sorceress, I know I know). Based on the trailer obviously, but her new persona so to speak seems like a confident mature woman, different from TW2.

I would vote for variations of the outfits (using the hood for example)
+ multiple hairstyles (Long Loose hair like in The Witcher 1)

The most I'd want is one for travelling/combat and one for formal occasions, if there are any. And she picks automatically, it isn't a player choice.

Have to see it in action to judge it, khm
But nice romantic evening -one on one, Geralt and Triss in pyjamas could make my day (joking of course)
I vote for long loose hair of- Triss TRESSFX
there is no need for showing to much of body of Triss -except to Geralt

Ouch. Nice one :)
As long as they don't go back to the TW1 outfit, I can live with the new version.

That's the reason why I was pissed off when I saw Triss' dress in TW1 for the first time. In TW2 her road suit was more appropriate. And now the decollete is back - I'm not really happy with that, but it's not the end of the world (new alchemy bothers me much more)

I didn't actually pick up on that, when I watched the trailer. Thank you! I think it is still ok-ish, but the first one is defenitely better. It fits her character (no cleavage!), is more elegant and interesting.
I guess it is the artist, that imagined it that way. But I really don't see a point.
No cleavage: No one will complain, how she doesn't have cleavage.
Cleavage: Contradicts lore, will make more hardcore lore fans unhappy.
Competing with Yennefer: He knows both long enough, that this will surely not be the deciding factor.
Practicality: I know she is a mage, but still, having some light protection in the chest area will definitely be beneficial. Also wind and weather on the road could make you ill faster.
