How I fell upon a solution to the witcher won't launch problem

I was getting the witcher is not working message every time I launched the game and hadn't seen as much as an intro. I then changed the 32" HDTV I was using for a standard 19" flat screen and it started working. I then made the HDTV the secondary clone and it still works allowing me to use the HDTV. However when I make the HDTV primary display it doesn't work. Hope this is helpful to somebody. I would appreciate any suggestions as to why this is the case just out of curiosity

I was having the same problem i spent a couple hours with the error messages to no conclusion.So i figured it must be a display setting after a few different resolution changes it worked great everytime. I have an 42in hdmi tv that i sub for a monitor.
