This guy preordered the digital PS4 version in Australia and he claims that he is now playing since it is already the 19th in AUS...
Is that possible? Did CDPR possibly lie to us, saying that game will unlock globally on every platform at the same moment?

They didn't lie The Console versions just don't have any copyright protection. People are playing the console version for about 1.5 weeks already because retailer sold the game early and broke the street date.

He preordered the DIGITAL PS4 version! The digital versions, no matter what platform, has the DRM for the 19th set!

wow I like to know what is going on, I thought digital versions would all be released world wide at the same time for some that would be midnigt such as myself for others during the afternoon such as in the us. So this is really weird how he has it unlocked already.

you can only play if you have the disc version of the console ... everyone else need to wait unless sony broke the release date to =P

Well technically they are spreading misinformation about the release of digital and physical, both unlock at 1am cet, however they should have specified that only means if you already HAVE your physical copy. Retailers can't sell the game until the 19th...which is stupid.
