my guess is that the DLC will force you to play as a different character for few hours and all your main game progress won't matter.

Example of Good DLC:
Witcher 3 did fantastic job with DLC you could carry your stuff to dlc because you kept playing as Geralt,

Example of Bad DLC:
FFXV DLC was garbage because they forced you to play as different characters.

P.S also good DLC was in Skyrim, Fallout, Borderlands.
Thats how yo do it. Because people invest time and love in main protagonist.

Will the DLCs be all original content or is there any chance we could get crossover like events with other games/media?

Idk, but they need to add a heck of a lot of content. More romance options, menu fixes, new game plus, transmog, mini games, AI fixes, heck of a lot more quests and not these go here and kill these guys stuff

A lot, i think. I heard about multiplayer. And for that they need some activities in the open world to be fun. It is CD Projekt - they are guys you can trust.

I thought so too, but they did mislead with the current gen of consoles. I played on PC and had no major issues or crashes. Just saying...we can't trust them like we used too. I hope the dlcs focus more on the things they fell short on and what made it shine. Deeper relationships with the characters needs to be addressed for me. Honestly everything else would be ok with me, as long as they aren't fetch quests.

They should really add:

I think that you should add “Car Shops” instead of driving across apart of the city to see a car. I’m not saying to get rid of the buying cars option we have now but add car stores to get cars and customize them. I would also recommend the car shop at least two in every section in the night city.

Another idea that I have is to add more interaction in Restaurants, Bars, and clubs. At the Braindance clubs, you should pay and get a braindance in the club. Also, you should sit down with the bars and have the tender pour you a drink, not just buy it out of the menu, then go into your backpack, click the glass, and never see you drink it. The same goes for restaurants. I also think you should talk to people more in these places I just listed, not having a one-word conversation. I’m not saying every NPC in the game but only in these establishments.

My next topic is gangs. I think that you should be able to join one of the Gangs in Night City. I have with the gang’s view that some ideas are to do side missions with your gang. You should also have a rival gang, or the gangs primarily go after the Police or corporation. You could have “gang wars”. Don’t get me wrong, though; the Lone Wolf is cool; It’d be nice to be able to join a gang. Also, each gang could have its perk. Like if someone enters the animals, they would get “stronger” like a street brawler. There could also be ranks in the gang, and you can work your way up in the gang and get “respect.”

More sexual stuff! I think that there should be more joytoys in Night City who are opposite and get into more “fetishes,” not saying go crazy but just regular stuff that a fair amount of people are into. I also think that you should add relationships to the game. So you can go on dates with someone and hang out with them. You can also add a twist with that, though, but random scenarios like they have to move away or murdered or just die in natural causes.

Housing! I think that you should add the option to buy different houses. I believe that it is nice that you can get “houses” throughout the game, but it’d be nice to get your places, and maybe the higher the price more perks in the house.

Delamain! Delamain should become a taxi service that can drive you around Night City. There can also be different taxi services, so the more money, the better and cooler taxis, but I think the cabs should be unique and you can talk to the taxi driver, and maybe they can become your chauffeur.

Personal attack! I think that since we’re attacking these gangs and corporations so much, they should come after us. Now I’m not saying all the time, but I think that’d be a very cool touch to add to the game.

Not a bad list! I say minus the sex stuff but add more relationship building since they fell short. The gang thing sound kinda hard to get right lol I couldn't agree more with the restaurants/bars topic. I really couldn't believe they didn't meet this standard in gaming. RDR2 has that down really well, and its not even an RPG lol

Yes it would be incredibly stupid to not continue the story that you have played in some way. Especially with how much shorter the game was.

lol because the game is done unfortunately, it fell a bit short but still a great game. I hope but don't expect them to do/add things like no man's sky. If they do, they I would be so happy. But time to move on, Mass Effect coming and DA atleast half way in production. :)

do you think this game will get 2 major expansions like Witcher 3 and maybe few free DLC for armor and cosmetics ?

or you think this game is done and nothing will be added ?

P.S i know about Multiplayer, but if it's deathmatch or battle royale no thanks, if it's like Dark Souls or Monster Hunter world then yeah i can accept that MP.

CDPR announced months ago they will be adopting a dual franchise model. Meaning they will focus solely on two franchises at a given time. Without a doubt 1 franchise will be the witcher given their renewed agreements with Sapkowski, the author of the witcher novels and it's growth in popularity following the Netflix series. So another Witcher title is likely in the works. That means the 2nd franchise will be Cyberpunk 2077 so there is no "this game is done". Not for a while anyway, this is after all only the first Cyberpunk 2077 title.

When you see some of the ridiculous comments here suggesting they abandon the game after pouring in resources into it just ignore them, that's clearly not happening nor is there any reason to. So to answer your question, yes I suspect there will be expansions and DLC's.

I heard there was a lawsuit starting. I just hope it has no effect on further development, particularly DLC's.

It needs at least three. And bigger ones, with more content than any Witcher 3 DLC. I mean it. Game desperately need more interesting, longer, branching and interlacing side quests and huge quest hub areas without new quest markers, players, knowing that rhey are in a quest hub area, need to talk to every NPC and trough good dialogue unlock new quests and lore.

I believe(d) the thread meant AFTER all bugs and performance issues are fixed already plus some content is added for free.

There's so much to fix and I can't imagine them considering DLC at this point. They have to improve core elements of the game for anyone to even want to play DLC.

They Promised nothing less then what they did with The Witcher 3.

Buuuut they also promised a lot and advertised a lot that didn't make it on launch soooo.

In a perfect world it would go like this.

1. Bugs/Performance fix this would include AI fixes
2. Adding all the promised content and removing all the censorship added after 1.02 (Least for PC)
City interactions and immersion content included here.
Hopefully this would be at least almost done with Jan and Feb big patches.

3. Free DLC (The Witcher 3 got 16) This includes things like a few quests maybe a barber shop/plastic surgeons.
4. First Expansion. (Least as big as Hearts of Sone)
5. Second Expansion (Least as big as Blood and Wine)

The Launch most likely put them behind schedule, so I wouldn't expect the first Expansion till Q3 next year at the earliest. With Second expansion Q2 2022. I wouldn't expect the Multiplayer standalone till some time in 2023-2024.

Next year will show me a lot. Hopefully CDPR does what is needed and fulfil their promise to us. If they shelve Cyberpunk or go the GTA Online route crap or EA route crap ("Leave greed to others") I will write off CDPR forever. Been a fan for 12 years and The Witcher 3 is in my opinion the best RPG with choices that matter ever made. Which is why I haven't Wrote em off already. Ball is in your court CDPR! Let's see what you are going to do.... No more fouls ok?

With what they Promised and Bragged A LOT in their Trailers, Articles and Demo's and How the game Turned Out on Release, I say they have A LOT of work ahead of them. There was A Lot of Content and Features cut from the Game, a bit too much Honestly. So I have no Idea what they Plan for Cyberpunk 2077, they already Half Assed us with Over Half of the things they bragged about Constantly with the game, God knows if suddenly they'll Decide to start Cutting more Content for Future DLC or whatever. Least for the Base Game sense I heard that the Remaining Investors for CDPR is Hounding their ass for the Multiplayer Version, trying really hard to make back money from this Blunder Bust.

Either way, I say they have a lot of Work in a sense of World Content.
  • Safe Houses you can Purchase
  • Auto Shops for Vehicle Purchasing and Customizing
  • Side Activities to do that ISNT SOME SIDE MISSION
  • Minigames like Street Racing, Street Boxing, Shooting Ranges/competition and many more. again, THAT ISN'T SOME SIDE MISSION.
More Genuine Interactive Activities Like;
  • Drinking at Bars and Getting Drunk.
  • Eating at Food Stalls instead of just the Basic Trading Hud and Absorbing Drinks and Food into your Flesh.
  • Dancing At Night Clubs and Enjoying Stripper Clubs, Similar stuff to the Cutscenes we see in the game but instead we can ACTUALLY Partake in it and in different Places.
I guess just the sheer Basics of a Open World Game.

But there's some I can Realistically Expect as Coming DLC is Character Customization. Salons for Hair Cuts and Ripper Docks or some other Shop that can let you Re-Customize your Character as a Whole. Hopefully you can even Change your Body Type as well, as limited as that could be. But I would Also Love if Ripper docks can also Give away Genuine Tattoos to cover your Whole Arm and Hands, not just over the Elbow Shit. And Hopefully More Accessories like more Tattoos, more Cybernetics Features, and More Jewelry and So On. Hell MORE CHROMES IN GENERAL. Always a Let Down to see NPC's in this game walking around with some Sick Ass Chrome on them and we don't Get Shit. Hell can't even customizes what we already have.

Other than that, I'm not too sure what exactly they'll Include in their DLC's and Expansion that isn't just Simply Updates and Hot Fixes. I'm more Worried that they'll just Skip Cyberpunk 2077 in General and put more effort into their Multiplayer Version, going the Rockstar Rout really. They Cut basically everything from the base game on Launch, who knows what more they'll end up cutting for Time and Money Reasons.

I think lot of people dont realy give a shit about dlcs.
1. You gotta fix bugs, thats top priority.
2. Then have to insert cut content
3. And only then you can begin with dlcs
Since game is unfinished no regular dlcs gonna fix it
