How many hours played before you died the first time on Death March!?

Just curious how far someone has gone without a single death.
I die in the beginning because of those sea creatures in the sand..

About 1 hour and 50 minutes.
I died on one of the first encounters with those Ghouls.
I got to say after that I didn't die often anymore.
It seemed to me that after my first monster experience it "clicked" for me and I found my flow pretty fast.
I always die early in the game in games like that because I have to get a "feeling" for the general combat and pace.
After that I only died 2 times so far.

Hours, lol. I died within my first encounter with wolves and my first encounter with drowners. I died some 15 more times just to kill 5 drowners.

Several times in the first fight with ghouls, until I learned that Quen spamming is still the way to go.

I have yet to start it though, so I'll just sit here and snigger for now
