I had trouble with verify until I re-registered via the game. I have all the content now...it breaks for me during the install process. Notes say up to 4 hours...I have let the machine idle for 8 hours twice now. It has hung and not finished install of EE content both times needing a restart to even access the computer. Is there a bug?

Okay, I had a similar problem but that was because I had to re-register my game since I installed on a new hard drive. Make sure your game is registered before you attempt to install the patch. If you guys are still having this problem I think you should ask in the tech support forum or hopefully someone else here will be able to give you more advice. I registered my game in November 2007 and did not play it a long time. This year I played the game very often and I was very happy to read about the EE. The game was always installed in the same drive, the only thing I made was an servicepack update for XP.

It just refused to start, no matter how long I waited. I believe I could have been waiting until the second coming of Jesus. Then I read here to put both language - and upgradepatches to your GAME folder, that one witch is in your Program Files (in my case, C://Program Files/The Witcher), I did that, and launched TEE.exe, and that was it, installation started at once, and languagepack was installed too. You do not have to install it separately, ´cos installation of upgrade will ask witch languages will be installed and seeks them.And let me tell you, this EE-thing is AWSOME ( I love those rats).

No problems at all. I had stopped playing the Witcher earlier in the year when I heard there was going to be an enhanced version, so it's great to be playing it again (starting over from the begining). I really enjoy the game and the Enhanced Edition is a great improvement. It's brilliant that CDProjekt RED is supporting their customers like this. Thanks! ;D
