This quest opens after or during (can't remember exactly) Zoltans quest A Dangerous Game. You find this quest eventually as you'll approach the Rosemary and Zoltan is arguing with some thugs in front of it. I believe after accepting this quest he will play you in gwent allowing you to acquire his card. Which in turn unlocks the other old friends to challenge.
I already did that quest? because I did some stuff with him in the main quest.
I did the quests for him for the main quest that you find that planner and need to visit all the girls from dandelion
You talk about a side quest a dangerous game. I'm trying to start that quest for a card. Do u know when this quest will be triggered?The quest I'm referring to is the one where your to obtain three rare gwent cards for him to sell to some noble. This quest does indeed require you to grab a ledger detailing who has the cards but there are no girls involved. Two men one being a dwarf with a hidden room where the card is stashed.
If you didnt do as stated above then you haven't actually done the right quest yet. If you have done this then maybe it's possible to miss your chance to play if you finish the quest. Apparently you do go seen him much later in the game (almost near the end) but I doubt you'll be able to play him then.
