How to win horse races without counter-cheating against the cheating AI?

If you are ahead of your opponent, they will always be straight behind you. It is as if the AI will NEVER run out of stamina?

The only way I found to counter this seemingly cheating AI is by cheating myself. It is a really easy and cheap way to win, but what I do is run until my stamina gets low - then BLOCK the opponent's horse to regen stamina.

How do you win horse races the proper way? Without blocking the opponent's horse?

ummm... blocking your opponents horse isn't cheating, its what everyone does... lol this isn't Nascar or Formula 1

Blocking the enemy's horse from passing you is what they do in any kind of race. You move with your opponent so they can't find a way to pass you.

Blocking your opponent isn't cheating. And tha AI doesn't cheat. Just try to upgrade your saddle to have more stamina, you'll soon see you can loose them easily. I've never lost a race in the game yet.

Not sure about Nascar, but certainly blocking is part of Formula 1 too
