Another you mean the weekly Paradox one? That's the one I wrote above :) The main bundle is the Comedy bundle now (not games).

In the context of them continuing to offer DRM games, I couldn't give a toss if all the money goes to charity* or the Flat Earth Society or anything else. They've forsaken their original aim, keep offering worthless crap, and I'm quickly running out of patience with those tits.

It says all we need to know about gamers and the computer gaming industry that there is only one place to buy DRM-Free games. I'd rather stop playing games than buying that filth.

*unless you actively change it to "all charity", it doesn't all go to charity anyway, but it's something I will do if Hell freezes over and they offer a DRM free bundle again, that I'm interested in.

A good indicator that something is wrong with the bundle is the lack of EFF in the charities there ;)

Yep. I gave 100% to EFF in the last I bought. Not relevant this time as it's pointless to buy something you can't play, but they should include EFF in future bundles so at least others can give money to them.

I think they include EFF only when the bundle is DRM free. So it shouldn't look like EFF is promoting DRM, since they are principally opposed to it. Naturally all these Steam/Origin bundles appearing lately don't have EFF in the list.

Okay, that makes sense. Let's hope there will be many EFF options going forward then ;)

(though I'm really starting to lose faith in these DRM-bots now)

Yeah, that's what I assumed (either that, or EA didn't want to have EFF on the list since funds donated to EFF would probably end up being used against EA ). So I gave the money to the Red Cross instead when I bought the Origin bundle (I hadn't really heard of the other charities).

Prior to this, I thought the Humble Bundle was purely for games, so I was pretty confused when I saw the Stand-up Comedy bundle. And I'm not going to boycott the Paradox bundle due to the DRM, but rather because I already have the games I'd want from Steam sales and I don't really care about the rest. If they were games I really liked and available DRM-free then I might have bought it again, but they missed on both counts :p

They aren't limited to games, though they are mostly focused on them. In the past they had music and e-book bundles. It's good they are adding DRM free video bundles now as well.

Humble Indie Bundle 9 is out (all games are DRM free and cross platform - Linux, Mac OSX and Windows). Trine 2 is at last released DRM free.

Glad to see the Humble Bundle back. Hope this is a return to DRM free multiplatform.

If anyone's interested, I can recommend Mark of the Ninja and Trine 2.

Tried out FTL. Next thing I knew, I had been playing for an hour. It is THAT good!

And by the way, it runs perfectly on Linux. Simply unpack and run :)

See they added more games to the package too, including Bastion. Don't get why the average payment of that package is less than the weekly one though. Weird.

Here we go again.
Please Note: These games are only available via Steam

Maybe they should consider that name change, or formally come under the shite umbrella. Instead of being an alternative to Shteam, they seem to just be a subsidiary.

DRM-Free Heaven it most certainly is not.

Pangaea, you're looking at the Weekly Sale, not the Humble Bundle. This current Bundle is all multiplatform, DRM-free like they used to. And full of indies too. This is an actual Humble Indie Bundle. The Weekly Sale is a different thing.

They seem to not be too sure about the difference themselves these days. That is the problem. Besides, if they're bragging about multiplatform support and DRM-Free, maybe THEY SHOULD OFFER THAT!! Not just once in a blue moon, but always. I guess GOG is the only honest distributor left. That's fine I guess. At least I know where to buy my games.

Yeah I also think the original Humble Bundle has been perverted. Steam has its own sales and people can donate anytime they want. The point of the Bundles was to support TWO good things at once, but they took away the one that was most unique.

The problem with GOG is their partial multi platform support. I'd rather have the Linux version of games if it exists. GOG *has* to catch up soon enough.

That's annoying. I was waiting for X3 for Linux to be released DRM free. No luck it seems...
