I saw many more in different power point presentations and other places I don't remember, so If you look a bit you'll probably find them :)

About the models.
We are close to the time when art-model and in-game model look the same. I still remember some games (let's not call names) where artistic presentation was a piece of art but what was left of it in game... Anyway, great Geralt model. The only thing I'm not 100% like is how this Geralt reminds me strong and heavy MMA athlete, not elegant and lithe swordsman from the first game.

About OP.
Summarizing different threads:

1) We want some new info - but not plot and quest spoilers.

2) We want to be shown spoiler-free trailers and demos.

3) First of all we want to have an expert look on game mechanics (Witcher Sense, horse riding, combat and so on).

And personally I don't want to see Yennefer or Ciri in marketing campaign materials, I want to meet them in game.

They should definitely do Vesemir though!

It was a mistake to announce the game so early. They should have announced it at this year's E3.

Exactly...make everyone know so early and then find out you need so much time to finish the game is clearly a mistake.

@Cormacolindor @broccolisoup

But CDPR didn't know that I guess, and opted for a 2014 release. And if that was too early, then what does that say about announcing Cyberpunk 2077 over a year ago?
I reckon they did it for people to join up. Possibly. If so it's the best looking CV-fishing I ever seen: Want to work with this game? :yes

Well, turns out that model is just promo art and not ingame. Apologies. :)

Hmmm... his left shoulder pad and some of the textures/edges looked kinda bad (good for in-game but not great for actual cg or art) that I, too, was pretty sure it must be the in-game model.

Totally agree. We need to return to Kaer Morchen.

I think it is not "ingame" as "in engine", but still the same or the highly detailed version of the model that is also used in the game. This is how it usually works.

They announced Cyberpunk but they just showed short teaser and handed few basic infos with message: "coming when it´s ready". That is all. We know they work on it and teaser fulfilled its purpose. To let world know that game exists.

On the other hand Witcher 3 was shown with super hyping trailer and then they already started to give us informations and trailers which we usualy see before release. It is done to get people excited so they will buy the game afterwards. Now when the game is postponed will all hype slowly fade away. So it is mostly lost effort. People know about the Witcher 3 but since we can expect it in almost one year there is no need to care about this game right now. We fans of course benefit from these premature infromations. But honestly we would buy game anyway. Marketing campaing is not done for us which is absurd because we want it most.

Right choice would be just giving us killing monsters trailer with some basic info and then begin to concentrate all new informations(trailers, screens, presentations, interwievs) like a half year before release starting with this years E3. Of course when CDPR will begin with releasing new stuff the new hype wave will rise again. And from what they said it is going to be big advertising campaing(maybe too big in my eyes),

But this is precisely why the marketing isn't aimed at us. Otherwise it would be pointless.
