Hwangbo never moves, gig cant be done

I have read that previously the problem was that Hwangbo always followed the players, even when the gig was over. Now my problem is reversed, he never starts following me, so I can't escort him to his car... He was standing on the balcony, when I approach him V says "follow me" or something like this but nothing happens. I did every single gig mission, this is the only one I can't complete... and what surprises me nobody reported this problem before, or at least I couldnt find any.

Btw the gig mission is called "Flight of the Cheetah"

In my first play through the gig "getting warmer" was bugged. I could not open any door to the building to rescue Bugbear from her data fortress. In my second play through the gig "until death do us part" is bugged. I can not get to the top floor of the apartment. But the mission "getting warmer" worked and finished it.

You could try checking with the Ping quickhack if there are still enemies in area spawned in locations you can't see. Perhaps also scouting area and see if something triggers when you get far enough from him.

there were enemies, I killed all of them, got out of the "combat" situation, still didnt follow. And there were other escort missions, and the escorted person got a green square icon on the minimap, this dude has a green circle.

Maybe I started this gig before, but didnt finished? I dont remember, but this game is sooo fragile that i wouldnt be surprised that this would confuse the codes running behind, because when I watched videos on youtube Hwangbo was in the room when the gig started, but for me he is on the blacony already, not in the room.

Balcony confused me as well as he was in his room when I did this gig. I have no idea if player can start this and then leave without GIG failing.

Wouldn't do any harm to submit a ticket about this. You can't finish the GIG and regardless what you did before, result shouldn't be this, so this falls under Gameplay: https://support.cdprojektred.com/en/

Once I had this problem where he wound not get in a car. Had to reload and then it was fine.

Can you load to a previous save before you started this gig/mission and see if it is just a bugged save? I never tried with the missions I mentioned

yea, many times missions bugged I reloaded before I started, most of the times it worked, but it doesnt matter if I reload or not, the result will be always the same, the guy was never in the room, he is always standing in the balcony leaning on the fence when I got there, this is why I am thinking that in the past I started this gig, maybe unintentionally, he came out of the room, but I left the gig and stuck in this situation, this is why he is never in the room (I cant remember if he was in or not before).

Not just reload, try going back to a save before the mission was started. It might be the save file. Apologies if you were referring to this also

Well, I did went back before I triggered the gig, it didnt help. And IF I tried it in the past, it was way over 20-30 hours of gameplay before, and manually I only save to 1 slot, hell knows what was that autosave file that was before I tried first, even if I did

The same reason I never tried with the missions that bugged for me well the first mission. I just left and hoped it would trigger. Second I'm not to far past it but i found a nice pair of pants and I don't want to lose them

It was something about tracking cables and radio signals but I forgot the main plot.

The problem is that it seems like I can't go back before it all started and I got stuck. I reported this problem to CDPRred, hope they fix in 1.2

In future try not to manually save to the same file. "Just a suggestion, do as you wish though" At least you might be able to go back to a point before and not lose a lot of time. And pants

The thing is that this particular gig works just fine for me. I can't think of a reason why it shouldn't progress. Does it say to lead Cheetah out of the hotel, or does it still say to find him?

it says "Escort Hwangbo to the meeting point with the ___" (i forgot their names) and there is an optional quest for doing it with his car. The yellow marker with a ! inside points at his car, when I enter the marker still points to the car and follows where I drive, but that dude still standing on the blacony, and I dont know where is the meeting point because the marker only shows the position of the car and it comes with me

Odd. Any NPC that follows you should always spawn right next to the car, and getting into the car the moment V does.
Think there's only 1 solution left; the autosave. Try the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd autosave. If none of them progress the gig, afraid there's nothing left but to skip it. Cannot be helped then.
