I buy all my games through Steam - how can I get the Collector's Edition goodies

I mean, the map, the coins, the dice!! the card games, the pamphlets and other such things (maybe not the bust of Geralt's head) all look awesome. I want them. But I also completely plan on buying this game through Steam. What options are left for me?

You can't buy CE digitally, cause there are some items that can't be digitalized (like coins or Geralt's head sculpture).Go here http://buy.thewitcher.com/index.php and choose your option.

Yea, I use Steam whenever possible but it would be nice if Valve could ship certain things. Like you buy a Collector's edition on Steam and they ship you all the physical stuff.

Yeah i'm in the same position. I like having all my games on Steam for the comfort features like auto-patching, save games on the cloud, achievements an such. But if this game doesn't use Steamworks that means I have to choose between Retail or Steam version. An if I go Steam I miss out on all the nice goodies they have included with even the basic Premium one. I wish they could offer a Steamworks Retail version.

I believe this game uses Steam Cloud, at the very least.

While not the full CE, take a look at the GOG version! It has much more goodies than other digital editions (including a pdf of the artbook), you get a free game from their store, and if you're in the euro or British pound zone you get the price difference between that and the dollar version as store credit (arround $16, more than enough for every other game from their offer), and to top it all off, its totally DRM free. You download as many times as you want, you don't need an internet connection to authorize, you can burn it and store, also install as many times as you want.http://www.gog.com/en/page/tw2_preorder/Oh, and 100% of what you pay goes to the guys who made the game, since GOG is a sister company of CDProject :D
