I cannot purchase Phantom Liberty from Steam

Greetings,

Ok so I added sufficient funds to my Steam Wallet.
I have hundreds of hours of CP2077 base game.
6,maybe 7 times beaten it.
And yet Steam Store tells me that I lack neccessary items to Purchase Phantom Liberty.
Base game IS installed on my SSD and there is sufficient space remaining.
200GB or so.
I did change motherboard once as the previous died.
It did not influence the ability to play.

I do not know if Cloud or rather lack of it could be to blame.
I unpluged the game from its Cloud some time ago.
Game would not start loading for several minutes due to some problems regarding limited save sizes or something.
On local storage I can have hundreds if not thousand of saves and start playing very quickly.

My plan was to finish Phantom Liberty several times and then sell the PC.
It appears I wasted 50 Euros.
Sure I can buy some other great games that interest me, but currently Phantom Liberty is all I care about.

Hi,
To be sure, the base game appear (and is recognized) in your Steam Library?
(not sure, but I don't think Steam would let you buy the expansion if you do not already own the base game).

I received the code as a gift long time ago.1.63 version .So I completely forgot it may not be Steam version at all. I have not even concidered it might be because it is GOG version even though it makes it clear every time , I just stopped paying attention. Truly an advantage over consoles single store options. Buy it from 1 store and make it incompatible with the other one.Wonderful.

IF there was some sale where Ultimate Edition is 35 , maybe 40 Euros , I would consider getting another version.Steam version this time.
Like buying a game on PS5 and later same game on Switch,because why not

I doubt you will find many PC games were mixing stores is possible.

That being said, the next steam autumn sale is not that far away. Maybe there will be a good opportunity for CP as well.
(or just get the dlc on gog…. gog sales happen just as frequently…)

For whatever reason I was certain that I have seen CP2077 in my Steam library.
Since I do not drink alcholol , I was probably just very tired or something.

My financial situation is not such that I can do that at this point.
I was planning 1750-2000Euro PC in December or so until couple of months ago.
18 months in the planning.
Things happen however.
Now...maybe in 5-10 years I will be able to do a massive upgrade .
So 50 Euros was very significant investment for me.
Have other costs in life.
It will simply have to wait.
