I can't get the game to work? I've read the FAQs already.

These are my system specs:Operating SystemWindows 7 Home Premium (build 7600)Install Language: English (United States)System Locale: English (Australia) Processor2.95 gigahertz Intel Core i3 53032 kilobyte primary memory cache512 kilobyte secondary memory cache4096 kilobyte tertiary memory cache64-bit readyMulti-core (2 total)Hyper-threaded (4 total) Display Intel(R) HD Graphics [Display adapter]Samsung SyncMaster [Monitor] (19.1"vis, s/n HMEY113750, January 2005) Multimedia Intel(R) Display AudioRealtek High Definition Audio ~I've had the error message that "Minimum system requirements not met", so I tried running the program with compatibility to Windows XP Service Pack 2, and I ran as Administrator, but it said the error again and then quit out. When I install the patch, will the game work then? Or is it due to my video/soundcard that makes me unable to play the game?

Tommy can answer better and the tech helpers like to have your PC Wizard report and ERRLOG file look here: [http://tw1.thewitcher.com/forum/index.php?topic=21633.0] but, yes you need a graphics card and not the onboard intel graphics one-- last I understood, even though that series 950 card says it should do the trick. I had to add an ATI one but Nvidia works too, and they are easy to install and don't cost a fortune for a pretty ok one. There is a beautiful list of compatible cards in this forum somewhere.[http://www.thewitcher.com/forum/index.php?topic=6990.0]Back on the "help for win 7 installs" part of this forum-after the 4th page- there is a list of things to do like set admin rights and run the TAGES thing from their site and get your drivers updated, and lower your UAC controls, but that's all pretty standard stuff. There is a set of instructions for making it run without the minimums called something like "Don't force Min reqs" and you could try that, but without a graphics card, I have no idea if it will run with the HD 950 series chip.I have the realtek sound too and the game works on my new - very similar to yours- machine now that I have the proper graphics card. Good luck installing. It can take some time, but the game is very worth the effort.

go to your witcher/system folder and locate the witcher exe right click and send to desktop then read the FAQ: http://www.thewitcher.com/forum/index.php?topic=17503.0 about applying the -dontForceMinReqs and do that to the new shortcut you made
