You don't need the Kaer Morhen armor to make the Wolf armor. It's the same process as the other armors, with a blank white shirt plus the other materials. So judging from the material i need to make a wolven armor, the best looking armor in the game, i absolutely have no way to get this armor right? Is there anyway I can make this armor without kaer morhen armor?
For somehow i thought wolven armor always needed warrior leather jacket as a pre-req material. I just checked and you don't need it... thanks for assuring me haha. I was thinking that if i should start over the save file which i put in 40ish hours already hahaYou don't need the Kaer Morhen armor to make the Wolf armor. I always thought it looked terrible, I hated it since the first trailers and really didn't liked how it was present on any promotional material about the game (as I didn't like the "shaved sides + ponytail" haircut used in many trailers). The Kaer Morhen armor is, IMO, one of the best looking armors in the entire game..
N ot a matter of "hate it" or find it "cool". I really never like it but... you know.. I'm a poor sentimental woman.... I cannot throw it away so easilyI always thought it looked terrible, I hated it since the first trailers and really didn0t liked how it was on any promotional material about the game.
I never liked how it looks like some sort of "medieval ninja suit" and I like even less how it makes Geralt look weirdly proportioned.
But then again I'm apparently the striking minority about this. Everyone else seems to think it's "super cool", so I can see where you come from.
Thanks goodness, I was starting to think I was the only one.I always thought it looked terrible, I hated it since the first trailers and really didn't liked how it was present on any promotional material about the game
You know the funny thing about the Kaer Morhen is when Geralt is talking to the Dwarven Smith about armour, he's practically describing that very armour. Light, flexible, protects in the right areas and can be gotten and out of on his own. Then CDPR make it the lowest ranking armour in the game with no upgrades. Well done. The Kaer Morhen armor is, IMO, one of the best looking armors in the entire game. It's unfortunate that it's such a low level armor and thus you likely won't wear it for very look. I always keep it in my inventory even when I'm way above its level just because I like to put it on and sport it around town sometimes.
True Witchers surive by Quen not by some pieces of armor my brother!!!The Kaer Morhen armor is, IMO, one of the best looking armors in the entire game. This doesn't help anybody playing on PS4 or XBO, but... If you have the developer console enabled, and enter the command "additem('Autogen Armor')", a Kaer Morhen Armor is added to your inventory with an armor rating appropriate for your level. Same with pants, boots, and gloves. Still not as good as the Witcher gear sets, but if you just like the look of it you can wear it all the time without being super squishy. The Kaer Morhen armor is, IMO, one of the best looking armors in the entire game. It's the chain shoulderpads. They look horrible and compromise the rest of the armor. With decent shoulderpads would have been pretty cool.I always thought it looked terrible, I hated it since the first trailers and really didn't liked how it was present on any promotional material about the game (as I didn't like the "shaved sides + ponytail" haircut used in many trailers). I never could stand how it looked like some sort of "medieval ninja suit" and I liked even less how it made Geralt look weirdly proportioned (waist-to-shoulders ratio etc).
