Can't say I agree as I haven't gotten to that point yet. It’s still sad it ended up that way.
I really don't like Shimura. I have rarely hated or loved characters in any game. Shimura is getting on my very, very short list of hated characters.

I guess that’s fair. I played through the game twice and kinda stopped on my third playthrough. But he grew on me. I understood his thought process. But I just wished he was more open minded. Can't say I agree as I haven't gotten to that point yet.

Star Citizen have an awesome mechanism with subway system. They could use it as inspiration.I was so hyped about the monorail and just walking around it while travels through night city. I hope it'll come eventually.
Let me know.
As much of a mess as that project is, I thought similar. The game worlds function in similar ways too, with areas streamed in and out as the player interacts with them. The subway could, honestly, act as a loading screen when traveling, just like it does in SC (real-time streaming in-and-out of assets between stations). There are ways to work it in there.Star Citizen have an awesome mechanism with subway system. They could use it as inspiration.
I agree, but I wouldn’t count the monorail out on what should be added after the core issues (bugs, frame rate, AI, story) get fixed. While I would like to use the monorail … I think the game has bigger issues right now (the AI for example)
It’s worth the effort, but not a priority at the moment. That’s my take.Night City Area Rapid Transit
This is a holographic subway gate that allowed me to fast travel. If they removed actual subways and then put this half-assed implementation in (that they still didn't even finish or finish removing since the fast travel still works), I highly doubt they're going to have a way of putting a subway into the game that doesn't currently exist. There is so much else wrong that it's far at the bottom of the totem pole and likely not worth the effort.
They couldn't even deliver the most basic NPC AI pathing on open streets which is literally the same for every generic NPC. How are they going to manage NPC's getting on and off subways? They even said their sole focus right now is getting the game to run on consoles "closer" to how it runs on PC. As it stands the only thing they have stated they are working on is almost entirely superficial. How are they going to change core game dynamics that don't even exist? We were sold a lie, start to finish. It’s worth the effort, but not a priority at the moment. That’s my take.
But they have an opportunity to fix it. It’ll take time. And right now, it’s still only a week from release. They’ve earned some time from me to show their good will, I’ll give them that opportunity. They couldn't even deliver the most basic NPC AI pathing on open streets which is literally the same for every generic NPC. Absolutely agree, I think there should bring back Death March with survival elements like eating / drinking / fatigueDoing nomad the game feel easy even on very hard
i don't think that every single person works on bug fixing, they have a separate squad who can fix bugs, but there are a dozen devs who dont fix bugs they are free to do something else. CDPR team is huge. While I would like to use the monorail … I think the game has bigger issues right now (the AI for example)
There is monorail system around the city but no subway, I believe the scrapepd the subway and left the monorail but limit the access to it for now. I hope they unlock it and we'll be able to ride the monorail train. It'll be awesome. It’s worth the effort, but not a priority at the moment. That’s my take.
CPPR was a private company and things worked great. But they love $$$ more so now they have to answer to what shareholders dictate. They put themselves in this bind. So it is their fault. And how is the gaming community shitty? If you buy a product, you expect for it to work as advertised, and not to be deceived by fake advertisements and promo campaigns.I wasn't implying the devs are the problem. In all honesty, I hardly blame management either. Myself, I blame mostly the shareholders. The pressure they were applying this last year must have been absurd for CDPR to release the game in this state.
Still, considering the general shittyness of the gamer community... yeah, any developer should stay away from the forum at the moment. Even though this forum is generally very civil.
